He occupies his usual seat in the lounge and switches channels until he comes across an old epidsode of "The Amazing Adventures of Bitterwoman"

Normally she'd be Wonder Woman, but she's very bitter about how her costume chafes

"Hey," said Janet. She had her French Bear in one hand and a giant bag of gumdrops in the other. "I'm bored, I'm tired of school, and I have candy." She sat down. "Oooh, Bitterwoman! What's it about tonight?"

Angel should've been studying for his math final. But that involved studying for his math final so... yeah, not so much.

He heard the TV on in the common room.

"Hey," he said. He frowned when he saw what was playing. "Oh - is this the ep where everything's a thinly veiled allegory about the producer's crappy boyfriend back in college?"

"What's it always about?" Parker wanders in wearing her new kimono, still pretty buzzed. "Yay, Bitterwoman! Kick ass!"

"The allegory episodes are kind of fun," said Janet. "I mean, could the producer show more mental instability?"

She held out the bag of gumdrops. "Candy? I'll do anything to avoid one more minute of schoolwork."

"She's very bitter about her costume. Don't get me started on the bracelets and the lasso."

Marty looks at Janet's bear and smirks. "Nice bear, you steal buy it at FAO Schwartz?"

Angel looked at it suspiciously. "Is that going to be safe for me to eat?"

Zero comes in and squints curiously at Marty's shirt. "Well, that's an interestin' sentiment. Is this the one where she gets tied up, or the one where she gets tied up?"

Angel took a seat on the couch. "Still, gotta love a woman who knows how to wield a whip. Especially one that forces bad guys to speak nothing but white lies." He frowned. "I never did get why that helped with the crimefighting though. Sure it's nice to hear that those moon-covered pants don't make her look fat, but how's that solve the case?"

"It's a validation... thing." Parker blinks at him, amazed he has to ask. "So she can keep on kicking ass. One less thing to worry about!"

"I guess," Angel said. He slumped down more on the couch. "See, this is what happens when you have shows made in the 70s. I like the female action heros you get now. Kick ass and know they look good doing it."

Janet looked down at the bag and frowned. "Should be," she said. "I've been eating them all night."

Sam, bar of Ghiradelli's in hand, sat cross-legged on the floor in her pajamas. She may have still been mildly annoyed about Shop, but it was hard to tell as she tore the wrapper open.

"Alright, hit me." Angel held out his hand for some candy. "I've got Math tomorrow. I need the comfort food."

Janet gives Marty a weird look. "Yeah, I bought it at FAO Schwarz. Was there any other toy store we went to over the weekend?"
