Anders having done most of the prep work (and being zomg busy with his whole pyramid thing today!), Vala had agreed to actually run the ~~psychology experiment~~ cookie taste-testing.

She sets out a table in the lobby of the dorms with a big sign offering "Free Cookie Taste Test!"

Anyone who stops by she makes try one cookie from each of two festively decorated holiday cookie plates, one prominently labeled "Regular NPC Company Holiday Cookies!" the other labeled "New Recipe NPC Company Holiday Cookies!"

She explains to anyone who asks that she got a temp job running the taste-test for NPC Brand on campus, and happily offers anyone who passes by one of each kind, just as long as they tell her which they prefer, so she can mark it down in her book.

Come on! She gets paid per response people! Help a fellow student out! Plus, free cookies during finals! What could be better?

(and no, they're not weird, magically whammied, poisoned or anything else. They're just cookies. Really! :)

"So I get to nibble what I like," Angel said, "and then tell you what made me feel all good inside?"

Cameron blinked, finding that a bit of an odd way to put it but he figured Angel just really liked cookies.

"Which ones did you like, Cam?" Angel asked. "Normally I like what I know, but sometimes it's fun to try new things."

"Original," Cameron eyes the plate, but doesn't take one as Vala might hit him in front of Angel who is kinda cool.

"Then that's what I'll try first," Angel slapped Cam on the back. "Just because you suggested it."

Cameron does not wince as the slap is harder than he expected and he's pushed forward a bit. "You know, I prefer saving the best for last."

"Holding off on the true enjoyment for as long as you can?" Angel nodded. "I get that. I'm a fan of that myself."

"Uh..." Cameron looked at Angel for a moment. "I wouldn't call a cookie true enjoyment."

"What would you call true enjoyment then?"

Cameron automatically looks at Vala before he caught himself and cleared his throat. "You know..." He waved his hand around, trying to come up with the best way to put it. "Being with someone. Not just in the er... touchy feely way... okay, maybe a bit but... That thing that you really shouldn't try to achieve?"

"Aww - don't tell me you're blushing?" Angel gently teased. He leaned in. "It's okay. We can talk about it. I'm not going to go all evil just because you told me you enjoy you-know-what."

"I know that," Cameron said quickly, but he had the feeling he was missing something here. "You want to talk about sex?"

"That was actually the last thing on my mind but if you want to I'm all ears. I'm even interested."

"Oh right," Cameron blushes. "Nah, I'm good."

"Looking good too," Angel said. "That time in the gym really works for you."

"Uh, thanks man. Means I'm not as pudgy as John," Cameron replied.

"Nothing wrong with a little meat on the bones," Angel said. He munched on a cookie. "Gives you something to hold on to."

"I suppose..." Cameron frowns, giving Angel a weird look.

"Uh, sure." Vala frowns slightly. "You don't, like, have a secret cookie fetish we should know about. I mean they don't make you that happy, do they?"

Angel snorted. "Hardly. Now nuns - but that's another story."

"O.K., officially more than I needed to know. But no, I can guarentee you, no nuns were used in the production of these cookies."

"Then should be fine," Angel picked a cookie off of the plate and took a big bite. "There, see? Safe as houses."

"Uh, good," Vala nods. "Just tell me your favorite."

Angel tried both. "Hmm. I'm gonna have to go with original. I'm an old fashioned guy. Not big on change."

"Well, o.k., then," Vala makes a note.
