Free Cookies! -- Late Morning & All Afternoon

Anders having done most of the prep work (and being zomg busy with his whole pyramid thing today!), Vala had agreed to actually run the psychology experiment cookie taste-testing.

She sets out a table in the lobby of the dorms with a big sign offering "Free Cookie Taste Test!"

Anyone who stops by she makes try one cookie from each of two festively decorated holiday cookie plates, one prominently labeled "Regular NPC Company Holiday Cookies!" the other labeled "New Recipe NPC Company Holiday Cookies!"

She explains to anyone who asks that she got a temp job running the taste-test for NPC Brand on campus, and happily offers anyone who passes by one of each kind, just as long as they tell her which they prefer, so she can mark it down in her book.

Come on! She gets paid per response people! Help a fellow student out! Plus, free cookies during finals! What could be better?



(and no, they're not weird, magically whammied, poisoned or anything else. They're just cookies. Really! :)

Kiki stops on the way by to the lounge, and gladly tries the cookies.

"I don't notice a real difference, and they're both good," she says. "But I guess I like the originals the best."

Looking tired and distraught over today's events, Lee's eyes light up when he sees cookies and then he takes a quick step back when he sees Vala. After ascertaining that she's VALA and not AERYN, he smiles at her, feeling safe. "Hey!" and he tries both cookies. "Definitely the new formula," he says as he wipes a stray crumb from his lips.

He says hi to Vala and then takes one of each kind of cookie. After carefully tasting them and weighing the pros and cons he decides he needs a larger sample to make a fully informed decision he decides that he's just one of those people who agrees with the axiom, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

"They shouldn't mess with a good thing. The cookies were fine the way they were and I don't like the idea of picking something up and thinking it should taste one way and then having it taste different."

"Um... I don't suppose you have any milk around here..." He gives her a charming smile.

Jack stops by after leaving the clinic, happy to see someone he recognizes. "Hi, Vala. What's the deal?"

She drops her voice a little. "Heard you spent last night in the clinic. Were they able to help you at all?"

Draco loves baked goods. And when someone is giving out free baked goods Draco will be there. He shows up and tries both cookies. It might look a little weird that he takes his time eating them but cookies are no laughing matter to a baked goods fiend.

"I can't decide! They are both so delicious!" he says "But I do know they are not as good as my mum's."

Faith likes cookies. A lot. And she likes free cookies even more than the other kinds.

Munching on a bite of each, she grins at Vala. "I love both! Do you have any other cookie types that you need sampled?"

"Do I smell food?" Cameron asks as he sticks his head inside the room. Somehow studying always makes him hungry. He seems to be a bit slow on the uptake, his stomach going before his mind and he grins when he realises it's Vala offering cookies. "Yo."

After his math final, Anders stops in his room long enough to change and drop off his books before heading down to the gym. Seeing Vala set up in the lobby, he manages a faint smile and heads over for a moment.

"Hey, Vala. How're things going so far?"

After the newspaper meeting, Veronica heads back to the dorms, still so very confused about her conversation with Angel.

She spots Vala and remembers CJ's request.

"Vala!" she says. "Professor Cregg is looking for you. It sounded really important."
