Maia was bored, she had finished studying. I wonder what Lana's doing Maia thought as she found herself standing outside the west attic that was Lana's room.
Lana took an oreo, then sat down in the comfy chair and tucked her feet under her. "I'm glad you came by. I'm pretty sure I know this biology stuff forwards and backwards, but I keep going over and over it. I really needed a break. So what's up with you?"
"Oh you know" Maia smiled leaning back herself breaking an Oreo in two "Just getting ready for Seattle." Maia smiled and blushed slightly "I'm just, well I am just so glad Chi is coming you know."
Maia smiled "Its going really well..I mean well we're not like you know official but, well for New Years we'll have been together for two months and..." Maia blushed and hesitated "I know its crazy and well kinda stupid of me to say since we're really not 'together' but um, well I think I am starting to fall for her."
Maia chuckled "Yeah it is." Maia grinned "I just- well I can't wait for her to meet my mom you know. I want them to get along and I mean this trip means so much to me."
"I'm sure it will be great. I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway, though." Lana smiled at her.
"I'm sorry I couldn't go with you guys, but if Lex was so insistent on Thanksgiving, you know he's going to be even more so about Christmas. Besides," Lana said a little wistfully. "I want to go home. I miss my friends and my horse and the Talon... I just miss home, I guess."
"Maia..." Lana blushes. She's quiet for a minute then looks down. "I... God, you *are* going to think I'm crazy after all the rest of the stuff this semester, but... I... I really think I'm starting to have some really strong feelings for him. And it's kind of scary."
She looked up at Maia, "I mean, he's a great guy, really just amazing, you know? But I didn't expect to find myself falling for him and... I think I really am. Have."
Maia broke into a huge smile, "No no your not crazy at all" Maia laughed "No crazier then I am Oh Lana!" She kept grinning "Thats just... Oh wow that is just so wonderful." Maia hugged Lana shoving the package of Oreos to the side.
