6 is in his room, constructing mannequins. For the sake of Art. Every once in a while, he stops to read a graphic novel called "The Escapist."

The door is slightly ajar, and 6 is in a more nostalgic mood than usual. Not that he's leaving or anything.

6 accepts the package. "Thank you." He opens it up. "John... I... Don't know what to say. Whatever the state of this reality, you are a true friend. Even if I have been rather... reclusive lately."

"No problem," John says. "And regardless of whether I'm real or not, you sure did give me a lot to think about with that. I got that for you because you were concerned about security when you stayed with me. That should help."

6 smirked. "Indeed. John, in case I don't see you again... I just wanted you to know that you are a stand-up fellow, and that you shouldn't let them wear you down. You're too good a man to be broken."

John frowns and looks perplexed. "Thanks. I'll try not to let the man get to me. Are you in some kind of trouble? Is that the reason you might not see me again?"
