Christmas, Cally Style. (Second Floor Common Room, Late Afternoon)

Cally, a large sack over her shoulder, plops down onto a couch in the common room. She sets down the tray of cupcakes, for those folks she doesn't have gifts for, and waits happily for folks to wander by. She's really thankful for the internet right now. She's also hoping that her emergency money won't actually be needed for any emergencies for the next... few months.

Archie, likewise, doesn't know what Cally is thinking. But if he could, he would still be too polite to point out that he never would have considered two or three rum-influenced kisses to constitute rejection, especially since Cally passed out shortly after that.

This is all a moot point, as he doesn't remember this happening anyhow. And he still doesn't think he can see what she sees in this Anders fellow, who appears to be drooling a little bit in his sleep -- oh, that's charming.

He accepts the presents with a smile. "Many thanks, Cally. I'm afraid I have nothing for you, though; would you hold it terribly amiss if the present was belated?"

Archie feels a bit devious tonight, and less standoffish than usual. "Oh, don't be silly, now. It's the Christmas season."

And with that, he leans forward and gives Cally a hug. "Merry Christmas."

Squashing Anders's head again and giving it a solid knock with the brass spyglass in his coat pocket are both completely and totally unintentional actions. Honestly.

Archie chuckles secure in the knowledge that the Anchie-mun's brain is now thoroughly broken. "Yes, I do love boats. And I appreciate it very much. Thank you."

He doesn't mention anything about certain very bad personal associations with mutinies, though.
