Everywhere in the freaking dorms, all damn day

Jaye's going home for Christmas and still hasn't managed to finish all her shopping, or pass everything out. So today she's making deliveries. This involves walking around the dorms with a bag full of presents over her shoulder, trying to remember where people live, knocking on doors and leaving presents for the people that don't seem to be home. She just hopes she's catching people before they left for home home.

Anders grins at the pyramid print. "Hey, cool! Now I can really claim to love Pyramid in all its forms. This is totally going right over my desk."

"And I got stuff for one of my favorite radio people!" He hands Jaye a box wrapped in gold paper with a red bow (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/78d5/), and a smaller box in red paper with gold ribbon (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/7cb0/). "I know you could get some use out of the first one at least."

Jaye opens the presents, and smiles. Holding up the slingshot, she says, "You just gave me a weapon. You have no idea what I will undoubtedly can do with this."

And the plus Cthulu, she studies, hopes it won't talk, and says, "He's kind of cute."

Anders grins slyly. "Hey, wacky hijinks are always fun. And at least these are mostly harmless, right? You can, like, plug gremlins if nothing else. Not that that's anywhere near as fun."

He eyes the plushie Cthulu. "I'm . . . not sure why I got that. Just seemed appropriate, or something."

"Well, you can never go wrong with Cthulu," she says, and makes it do a little dance. "Thanks, Anders."

"No problem," he replies with a chuckle, peering thoughtfully at Cthulu. "The tentacles were kinda cute, y'know? Thanks for this, too," he adds, waving the pyramid print. "Didn't really expect to get half as much as people have given me so far. I like it. It's cool."

Sam opened her door to the knock. "Jaye! Hi!" She turned around and went back to the bed, leaving the door open. She dug through the pile until she found a gift (http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?page=multi-cup-vacuum-bottle&categoryId=43445&parentCategory=9007&cat4=1099&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&feat=ssdpa1099) beautifully wrapped in shiny paper and handed it over.

Lee really outdid himself with the wrapping.

"Oh, thanks. I love Christmas," Jaye grins, handing Sam her presents while taking hers back to open it. "This should come in handy during hockey."

"Me too." Sam started giggling as soon as she opened the packages and saw the titles on the books. "And these should come in handy at other times."

"Thanks, Jaye. These are great. And really, really needed."

Marty who's not an elf, dammit! sees Jaye in the hallway.

Jaye facepalms, but she's smiling. "The song's stuck in my head again. Thanks, Marty-who-be-not-an-elf," she tells him, and hands him a wrapped present. "That's yours."

"Well you did a good job of singing it at Caritas that one time. I figured you were a big fan of the movie," Marty replied as he opened his gift.

"Cool! I love this show. I didn't realize that it had come out on DVD. I'm going to have to get the entire series now!"

"I could only find season one, so that might be all that's out so far. Or they were sold out. Which of course never happens at Christmas," says Jaye, who's never singing in public again. Or in the car, or the shower, or anywhere else, just to be safe.

"Lion-Girl-Jaye!" Bridge grins as he opens the door. "Or should I say Officer Lion-Girl-Jaye? Um, I have something for you too, hold on..."

Jaye opens it and starts cracking up. "Oh my God, this is awesome. Thanks, cadet. Maybe it'll grow big enough to eat my enemies."

"Glad y'like it," Bridge grins and then opens the package from Jaye. "Oh, dude. This is awesome. I was totally thinking of, like, building a pinball machine sometime... but then I was like dude, I'd have no place to put it!"

"You could build a pinball machine?" Jaye says, jaw dropped a little. She had to build a birdhouse her freshman year, and it hadn't really gone well. There had been an injury. Not her injury, either.

"Aw, thanks," she says, handing over his hockey team giftage. She opens the present because that's the best part of gift-giving, and smiles. "I'm wearing this to the next practice, I swear."

"No no no," Jaye says, eyes going wide. "I will freeze the gym if I have to! We will break into the hockey rink!"
