Room 412: Overdue Library Book

Janet waited outside Belthazor's room for Zero to join her.

He'd had a book out since October 3rd. Seventy-nine days. It was past time to get that book back.

And since the book was from Special Collections? The fine was going to be pretty damn expensive.

Janet smiled. Being a library assistant could be such a fun job sometimes.

Yes, and it says the book hasn' been returned yet. *starts poking at Phoebe's suitcase in case she's trying to smuggle it out of Fandom*

Bel pulled the suitcase out of Zero's reach, making sure the box with the promise ring was still safely covered. "If you think," he said calmly, "that Phoebe is attempting to steal the book, then you and I are going to have words outside of the school. I know people think she's crazy for being with me, but there are a lot of issues where we don't see eye to eye. And I told you to leave her stuff alone."

I don' know the girl well enough to comment on her sanity, but, well, haven' you ever packed somethin' you didn't mean to?

"Something that big? Doubt she'd make that mistake," Bel said, closing the suitcase. "Not like it's a paperback she could easily mistake for a romance novel or something. Why don't you check under the bed or something?"
