Having been *mumble*mumble* busy for the last few days, Jack brings in a stack of DVDs and sacks out in the common room to watch them. They're a mix of movies and TV shows

Having been bored long enough, John heads down to see if there's anything happening in the common room.

"Jack!" John waves and heads on in. "How was the holiday, man?"

"Pretty cool. I got Legos, *and* a room to put them in." Slyly, Jack glances around, up, behind him, and under the couch, before whispering, "We were going to come up with mischief, weren't we?"

"Of course we were." John nods slowly. "Figured anything out yet?"

Angela waves to Jack and John as she flops into a seat in the common room. She hangs her head over the back of the chair. "The room looks kind of cool upside down," she observes.

"Doesn't the blood all rush to your head like that?"

Angela raises her head briefly. "Not if I don't do it for too long. It's seriously relaxing, try it."

Rory wandered in. "You're not old!" she grinned at Angela.

Marty waved over at Rory. "Hey stranger. Long time no see."

"Hey you," Marty says as he flops down on the couch.

"What's on TV?"

"I think just Bitterwoman reruns, same as always," Angela says, leaning over and giving Marty a peck on the neck. "Want to see what else is on?"

Sam walked into the room, finished paperback book in hand. "Anyone seen Rory?"

"I have not seen Rory Gilmore, no." John looks around the common room. "Is she hiding?"

"Me either," Angela says, still upside-down. "Left heer a message but she didn't call back. But hi, Sam."

"Not that I know of," Sam said, waving the book. "I told Rory I'd let her borrow this when I was done with it, and I am, so, yeah."

After returning from her jog, Callisto flopped onto a couch, crossed her arms and sulked.

"Why the long face?" John says by way of greeting. "You look like someone stole your pet turtle."

"I ran into the new journalism teacher in the park," Callisto pouted. "Bitch."

Cameron sticks his head inside the common room after nearly running himself to death at the gym. Noticing Crichton, he scowls and is about to retreat. It's strange that he's actually not scowling at Jack.

Marty flops down on the couch. "What's on the tube tonight?"

On her way out of the room, Sam passed by Marty. "Hey, we're going squid hunting. Okay if I borrow a cricket bat?"

Having now decided that the second floor is clearly the place to be, Archie wanders up to the common room and settles down quietly in an unobtrusive corner to people-watch.

Noticing the newcomer, Sam waved from her seat. "Hi. I can't believe I still have to do this since it's December and all, but I'm Sam Carter."
