2nd floor common room, late morning and possibly longer

Cameron's been up for ages. He's spend most of his morning in the gym, now however he's sitting in the common room with notes around him. Yes, notes. From abnormal psych class. It's december 29 and Cameron is studying and will be at it for the entire day if no one stops him.

Sam burst out laughing. "You mean that's not true?"

"God, I hope not." Cameron laughs too. "There go my childhood memories."

"Not to mention the children's books, the holiday specials, and the language center of my brain, once I'm finished scrubbing it out," Sam said, still laughing.

"Only at Fandom High," Cameron snickered. "I'm just glad I caught that particular misbelieve with Vala, I'd hate to have seen her tell that particular story to my grandmother."

Sam bent over laughing and began gasping for air, nodding vigorously.

"Glad to see a family disaster is so amusing," but he was laughing too and thumped Sam on the back. "Don't forget to breath."

Sam gasped, then said, "It's an averted disaster. It's okay to laugh about it."

"Uh huh," Cameron shook his head, but sobered a bit as it really had been enough of a disaster as it was.

Sam's laughs tapered off to giggles and she returned to the papers she'd been reading. She turned them upside down, but it didn't help.

Noticing Cameron's expression, she asked, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah," he watched Sam turn the pages upside down. "That doesn't look promising."

"Sometimes it's about getting a different perspective," Sam tried to reassure him.

"Maybe I should have tried standing on my head?" Cameron smirked.

Sam chuckled. "It seems to work for Bridge."

"Uh," Cameron blinked. "Bridge is weird."

"Bridge is an...original," Sam conceded, "but some of his ideas in shop class were truly inspired."

"I bet, he sure does look inspired," Cameron says sounding amused.

"Hey, people thought Einstein was crazy, too."

"Oh, I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I like strange and weird," Cameron grinned.

"No wonder you like it here," Sam smiled.

"Ow yeah, right up my alley. Especially the furr everywhere was something I've always wanted to experience."

"You were a cute dog," Sam said, biting back the grin. "Very friendly, too."

"I can see why that wouldn't be your favorite school memory, though," she rushed to add.

"Yah think?" Cameron raised and eyebrow and snickered. "Actually, it was kinda interesting. Walking on four paws isn't as easy as you'd think."

"No? What else was different? What made it so complicated?"

"You've got four paws you're on and walking is kinda wonky because you keep getting them tangled up and then there are stairs... Seriously, going down head first? It's weird and when your four paws are on one step, your head is going forward and you tend to topple over," Cameron was speaking as if he was reliving the entire thing. "Drinking is hard, your head is down while you're doing it and you keep getting your nose wet and snorting it up and..."

He cleared his throatn realising he was rambling. "Uh, it's just weird."

Sam nodded. "Sounds it, although I've never really thought about it before. You seemed like you were getting the hang of it by the end of things, though."
