Callisto raised an eyebrow. "Nice enough looking, but since when are we having elections, and why Angel?"

"January 16-- our new principal restructured the whole damn thing. Three reps from each class. As for why Angel?" Parker grins. "Entertainment value. And he's not here to stop me."

"Interesting." Callisto did not look like wheels were spinning in her head. Really. "Does this mean that we might actually get somebody competent leading the council?"

Parker frowned, but given the turnover on the council, and that *she* wasn't President, can't really argue too much. "Someone more interested, probably. And the twelve reps elect the Student Body president, and a veep, I think." She grimaced. "And our new principal is our faculty advisor. I'm not sure if I want to tell Angel that part or not. Heh."

"Good, no offense, but well, I have no great trust in the abilities of our current President." Callisto sat up straighter. "There's more than one reason I joined 6's ticket last time."

"Oh, right." Parker had some extremely mixed feelings about that election herself. "Well, hey. You don't have to run against my amusing senior class ticket. Three spots. You, Angel, and someone else to be named later. I'm running again," she tapped her own poster, "But if I lose? I'm not going to give myself an ulcer, this time."

"I think a co-ordinated campaign might be a good idea, don't you?" Callisto grinned. "If I recall correctly you made academic affairs from a hospital bed. I have few doubts that you'll regain your spot."

Parker grinned. "Thanks. And yeah, that's what I thought *last* time-- I think Alanna and I might run together too. I haven't talked to Liz Weir yet, or Anya. I don't know if they want to run or not." She made a face. "Then again, Anya and I were constantly butting heads, and not having to worry about her on the Council would be a relief. Penny-pinching Midas wannabe."

"Well, unlike last time, I doubt the JA are going to be a factor, so we don't have to worry about a dirty campaign from them." Callisto had a very sneaky grin.

"Heheheh. Yes. Gosh. Good thing there's no one around to do that," Parker says, attempting to look demure and falling far short.

"Yes, because everyone knows that all politics must be completely above board and lacking in any sort of deviousness," Callisto was apparently a lot better at looking innocent when the conversation had nothing to do with doofy looking vampires.
