Anders nods, eager to change the subject. "Yeah, I was thinkin' of that myself. Actually thought I might see if gym needs a TA, you know? I don't have time for a job, with ABC Damage Control and all, and I'm useless as a TA in any other way. But Cally's got this new idea to start working out now, and I've been helping her a routine, so I figured, hey. I could do that."

"How is ABC doing, by the way? Half the people I know have gotten something fixed by you guys." Parker shook out her fingers, and glared at her posters. "And at least if you TA for gym, your boss won't be an ape. Gahhh."

"Pretty good. Got a couple of commissions just before Christmastime for presents, I guess -- Marty had us fix up a scooter for Angela, and Aeryn had us build something for Crichton. Well." He pauses and laughs. "I say us like I did anything but move stuff and hold tools. But yeah. And then there was Janet's fridge. We seem to be getting kinda popular. Guess the little extra features are a hit."

It takes a second or two, but the last part of Parker's statement sinks in, and he gapes. "Wait. An ape? Around here that's gotta be literal, but whoa."
