3rd Floor Common Room Tues. Night

As the second floor common room was too busy, Angel, Logan, and a party hat wearing Sean made their way to the third floor common room. Finding no other posts about it it empty, Angel put his box down on one of the tables. "Um, you wanna pick? I could put the popcorn in the microwave."

"Yep, yep," Angel nodded. "Though, uh, coming back and finding SC election posters did make me wonder. Mostly because I thought it was fall."

"That's good," Callisto did not look inexplicably relieved, at all. "Um, yeah, I was surprised when Maureen Parker said we were having them too."

"She said you were running," Angel said. "I'd vote for you. Not just because I don't want the job myself."

"Yeah, I am, thought I might try my luck. You should keep running even though it was Parker's idea, I'd trust you on council," Callisto chewed her lip for a moment. "I, uh, missed you."

"Parker's trying to torture me. I say we take up embroidery so we can stitch 'Maureen' on everything she owns." Angel then gave a tiny smile. "Me too. I - uh - sorry I had to bail on you. There was a thing. Which turned out not to be a thing."

"Tempting as that sounds, it would be far too much work, unless we hire someone to do it," Callisto grinned. "That's okay, you did, what you thought was the right thing. It's just, it would have been nice to have you on the squid hunt, y'know in casr Sunshine hadn't left."

Angel's smile became a little more coy. "Yeah, I heard that got pretty... pretty."

"Naked," Callisto supplied, then started turning pink. "Well, you know what happens when you get leather wet, and I don't want to think about what chlorine might have done to it."

"Well yeah, totally." Angel said, no stranger to the needs of leatherwear be they pants or all about the coats. "I just - you know - that would've been... fun. If I was here. There. With you. At the time. And nobody else was."

"Uh, yeah that, uh, fun. Definitely." Callisto was not now a rather bright shade of crimson, or distracted, at all. "Well, the good news is no more squid, so we can use the pool whenever we like. We meaning the student body, of course."

Angel was not blushing either. "Good to know if we want to go swimming we could, you know, at any time... without squid. Or... other things to worry about."

"Which is, y'know, a relief," Callisto attempted to regain her composure. "You into swimming then?"

"Little bit," Angel shrugged. "Don't get much chance to go to the beach. Most people don't want to head out there when it's pitch black."

"Well, darkness can have it's advantages," Callisto said. "For, uh, sneak attacks and stuff."

"Can't imagine what kind of sneak attack somebody's want to do in water," Angel said, innocently.

"There's always ducking," Callisto suggested. "Not that I'd ever do anthing like that."

"'course not," Angel said, with a slight grin. "So. Um. I owe you... a thing. Rain check. On what we were doing."

"Not me," Callisto endeavored to look innocent, she failed. "Right, you kinda... do."

Angel nodded sagely for a few moments. Then he admitted. "What would I do to make that happen? I - uh - don't have a lot of experience here."

"I...don't have the slightest clue," Callisto did not look the least bit flaily.

"You don't either?" A look of almost blissful relief shaped Angel's face. Then he looked curious. "Do you... are you into talking about the relationship? You know, for fun?"

"Depends what you mean by 'talking about the relationship'," Callisto looked puzzled. "I mean, I guess it makes sense to make sure we're on the same page."

"Well, yeah," Angel said. "Especially since... you know. Slow. And all the reasons why slow is a good thing."

"Exactly," Callisto nodded, "Because, yeah, slow is a very good thing."

"Very, very good," Angel agreed. "Because I want it to be me who does this and not, you know, him. Even though he got to see you naked and I still haven't yet."
