Second floor common room, late Thursday morning

Aeryn's trying to be accessible, really. She's making an effort.

So far that effort includes shaking her head at the television trying to figure out who actually watches some of this stuff and why so many women have to take their husbands on Maury for paternity tests. And yes, this means the Nerf gun has come back out. Because television people really can be that stupid and shooting Nerf missiles keeps Aeryn's head from hurting.

Lee nods. "Driver's Ed sounds interesting, yeah."

"Tactics of War...You really want to take another class with that robot chick?"

"I liked Cyborg Theory. And if there was ever a class that sounds like one I should be taking, Tactics of War would be it," she points out.

Lee grumbles under his breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing," he says, forcing himself to be civil about the robot issue. "Anyway, have you seen John?"

"He was in the pool earlier," she says, not feeling uncomfortable. No, really. John had done enough work that Aeryn could be pretty confident in the relationship. She's good here.

"We have a pool?" Lee asks. "Oh, where the squid was, right?"

"I don't think it's there anymore, though. At least no one was attacked. It might just be hiding."
