Moving Day (again!) - Second floor hallway

After her omgsoconfusing morning, Rory started to patiently move boxes of her things down the hall from room 236 to 213.

She is but one wee, clumsy, fairly weak girl though, so she would certainly appreciate any help offered.

Unless it's offered by John or Lee, because they are OMG SO DEAD.

Rory sighed. "No, why? Did you get a phone message from him or something?"

"Yes. He knows way more about what I had planned for Jack tomorrow than he should." Parker frowned. "Maybe Lee told him. He was drunk enough to leave me a message about wondering if he had his hand down my pants last night. That boy needs medication."

"Well. Did he?"

Parker glares. "Do you want help moving, ex-roomie?" Then she grins. "Sadly, no. And wouldn't that be something to tell Thrace." She scowled. "Who is *messing* with me again. Making passes... you were so right about her, god."

Rory nodded. "She's an odd one," she agreed. "Um, about that stuff with Logan and Anakin last night...you know I agree with Logan, right?"

"Yeah, I know." Parker sighed. "But Rory... I really think Anakin doesn't get why what he did was wrong. And frankly, that scares the hell out of me."

"He does, and he doesn't," Rory said pensively. "It was the lesser of two evils. He could have seriously hurt Logan."

"How? Is this more Jedi stuff?" Parker scowled. "And if he *could* do it, then he needs more therapy and instructions, not to be messing with people's heads!"

She grabbed a box and stalked down the hallway, then came back without it, still looking upset.

"Parker, imagine for a second that someone with a temper could levitate things," Rory said. "What kind of damage would result there?"

Parker's got a happy look on her face. She is *not* imagining the damage she could do, flinging chairs at people with her mind.

Then she scowls again. "Point made. Where the hell is this kid's keeper?"

"In a galaxy far, far away," Rory sighed. "Anakin's still learning, Parker. And this is the first time this has happened in how many months? And it was under extreme circumstances."

Parker glared at her. "No they weren't. They were *normal* circumstances. He's just been taught that it's okay to mess with people's heads if they don't remember. And that's the first thing he did-- I"m guessing he could've left, he could've pushed Logan out of the room, or done a *lot* of things before he went to the Squid Lady option."

"We were in the hallway. I was standing between them. Either of them trying to move toward the other would've messed me up too," Rory said evenly. "Yes, Anakin could have gone back in his room. Which would have left me with Logan. And not only that, but do you honestly think that Logan would have left it there?"

"So what? So they hit each other! Rover would've been there in five seconds to kick their asses! Rory, don't you get it? He's got *no* qualms about this. None. Skywalker doesn't regret this at all." Parker took a deep breath. "I don't get why you're not scared of him, when this scares the hell out of me."

"Because I trust him. People lose control sometimes." Rory thought for a second. "I also trust Angel not to bite me again."

"Angel knows it's wrong. I'm not sure Skywalker gets it." Parker sighed, and shook her head. "When you see him, tell him I'd still like to talk to him. Not about you. That's between you two, I guess. But this really has me freaked out."

"I think he does. If only because of how we all reacted. Like I've said...you didn't see, but I made it very clear at the time that I didn't approve. At all," Rory frowned. "But I'll let him know. He's still understanding, I think. But he does get it."
