Moving Day (again!) - Second floor hallway

After her omgsoconfusing morning, Rory started to patiently move boxes of her things down the hall from room 236 to 213.

She is but one wee, clumsy, fairly weak girl though, so she would certainly appreciate any help offered.

Unless it's offered by John or Lee, because they are OMG SO DEAD.

Molly was taking the long way to Kiki's room. She was wandering the halls starting on the first floor so that she could look into every open room she passed by. As she got to the second floor hall, she saw that it looked like someone else was moving. She stopped by the open door to talk to one of the girls she'd seen in the common room last night.

"Hi, I'm Molly. I saw you in the common room with the puppy last night, right?"

Molly followed Rory's gaze up. "Coooool. I must have crashed hard last night to miss the flying puppy. I love this school!" She looked back down at Rory. "Are you moving? Need any help?"

Molly looked up at Vladdie again. "Vampire puppy. Coooool." She looked back at Rory. "There are vampires here? I met a vampire once. He was nice, at first. He's dead now." She shrugged.

"You're moving just down the hall? Oh, this will be easy then. Point me at the heaviest boxes."

Molly grinned. "Hee! I'm a mutant with super strength. If I could figure out how to balance it all, I could probably carry everything in this room at once."

"Yeah. A couple people have told me that there are other mutants here. There doesn't seem to be the big prejudice against them like there can be where I come from. It's nice not to have to worry about that."

Molly moved over to a group of boxes marked 'Books' and stacked three of them on top of each other. She adjusted them slightly so that they wouldn't tip and then picked up the stack with obvious ease.

"The super strength can be really fun. Especially when the bad guys would dismiss me because I'm a girl. They always looked so shocked after they landed in a heap on the other side of the room." She grinned at Rory then shrugged. "The only downside is that I get way tired after I use my powers a lot. So, where am I going with these?"

Molly followed Rory down the hallway. "A shape shifter? Cool. I haven't ever known many other mutants. I lived in an X-Corporation place for a while after my parents..." Molly wasn't sure if she wanted to get into the whole 'My parents, along with their friends, were trying to destroy the Earth as an evil criminal organization called The Pride. So, my friends, the other children of The Pride, and I ruined their plans and got them killed by the evil alien giants they were serving' thing. She went with the simple explanation. "...died. I didn't get along with the other mutants so I ran away."

[[OOC: omg, I know so little about the current Marvel world outside of Runaways! How sad is that? *runs to Wiki*]]

"X-Corporation was the organization that helped mutants who lived out in the 'civilian' population. I lived in one of their embassies for a few months in L.A."

Molly shrugged. "That's just how they described it. Some mutants choose to live apart from non mutants, some don't. I didn't know I was a mutant until I was eleven and then, except for those few months, I mostly stayed under everyone's radar. I think it the whole 'people fear what they don't understand' thing."
