Moving Day (again!) - Second floor hallway

After her omgsoconfusing morning, Rory started to patiently move boxes of her things down the hall from room 236 to 213.

She is but one wee, clumsy, fairly weak girl though, so she would certainly appreciate any help offered.

Unless it's offered by John or Lee, because they are OMG SO DEAD.

"And vampires are just misunderstood?" Angela says, and regrets it. "Look, I can believe it's common at the Jedi Temple, or whatever. But I can't believe everyone is okay with it. And, plus, these are people who think it's okay to make little kids say they'll never have any emotional attachments. I like Anakin, but his society is ... very very different from what we're used to." She bites her lip. "I'm not saying it's bad, because I think I just don't understand it, and I know it means a lot to him. But just based on what I know? It all seems creepy."

Rory sighed. "I'm just saying that it's unnatural for him to think like we do. And he's still adjusting. And it's not creepy. It's just...different."

Angela shrugs, unable to discount the possibility that her discomfort with the Jedi way is simple prejudice. "I don't think I could be okay with it, but ... that's me, y'know?"

"I guess we can just hope this is a one-time thing for him."

"I'm not okay with it. I just...my loyalty lies with him right now." Rory shrugged. "I made that choice. I think this is wrong, but it's a one-time thing, and I know he won't do it again."

She sighs. "Seriously, you know Marty would beat him up if he messed with you. Parker'd just shoot him."

"You did," Rory smiled. "But like I said to Parker...this is the first time this has happened in how many months? And fairly extreme circumstances, in terms of being frustrated and angry. I doubt it'll happen again."

Through extreme effort, she does not add, Unless he's done it before and we just don't know.
