2nd Floor Common Room

Okay, so she decided that she would run.

Which meant election promises and posters.

Vote Elizabeth, Junior Council Rep

I promise to:
*Maintain a good relationship with the faculty
*Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all students
*Be honest and always listen to what YOU want

Having plastered them all around the dorms, from the gym to the top floor common room (via the shooting range), she settled into the common room with her palm pilot, a notebook and lists. If she was going to run, she was going to do it properly. And hiding away in her room certainly wasn't the way to go about it.

[[ooc: Come and say hi. And please forgive my lack of graphics skills!]]

"Booze always skews the results," Peter said, shaking his head. "I actually haven't made it out into town yet. What's it like?"

"There's a great coffee shop called the Perk. I've been there every day so far. There's a nice general store. The owner seemed really nice. And a pretty cool karaoke place. That's where the party was. Supposedly it's run by a green guy, but I didn't see him in the crowd."

"I'll have to stop by the Perk sometime," Peter said. "But I draw the line at karaoke. It's an evil that nobody should inflict upon another person. But maybe that's just me."

It may have been strange that he didn't even blink at the mention of a green guy.

"No, I totally agree. Well, unless you can mock. Mocking is always fun."

Isabel noticed he didn't react to the mention of the green guy but figured he had developed the same 'this is Fandom, I'm not going to react to it' reaction that she had.

"Oh, well, mocking, of course," Peter said. "But the people most in need of mocking are also the ones who hurt my ears the most. I'm not sure that's a fair trade, really."

"You definitely have a point. I guess it's one of those situations where you have to take the good with the bad." Isabel looked down at her extremely casual clothes her rumply lounge around sweats that she can't believe she's wearing in public and sighed. "I guess I'd better head back upstairs and get dressed for the day. It's been great meeting you Peter. Hopefully the sophomore class can get it together and overcome their apathy."

"See you later, Isabel," Peter said as she headed off.

[OOC: Not a problem!]
