2nd floor common room, morning

Deciding the 2nd floor's awesomeness needs to be proven some more, Cameron is in the common room this morning making omelettes the way his father taught him. It might involve gjetost cheese and avocado.

"Well judging from the fact that the posters look a lot like Parker's? I'm thinking dear old 'Reenie had a hand in it," Marty said as he flipped on the TV.

"Hey! Look! Lightning Bug is on! I love that show."

"Did you do something to piss her off?" Cameron asks, then realises maybe that's a stupid question.

He looks up from his dicing and looks at the television. "Cool. I've never actually seen it. Heard a lot about it, though."

Marty opens the chimney and throws a match on the posters.

"The number of things I've done to tick Parker off would fill this room," he says with a grin. "You've never watched Lightening Bug? It's only the longest running Sci Fi series. Or are you not a big science fiction buff?"

Cameron shrugs. "I am. I'm a huge fan of Wormhole X-treme. My family doesn't like it much so usually we ended up watching something else."

"Wormhole X-treme? Yeah I've heard of that one. A little funny of the premise. What's it about?"

"The military discovered some sort of alien device that's actually a portal to different planets. The show follows around one of the teams that gets to go and discover places. Their villans tend to be a bit tacky, but it's a fun show." Cameron explains as continues with his omelettes.

"Huh. Sounds pretty cheesy, then again I'm just a big Joss Wheldon fan. Did you hear he's going to be making the movie version of Bitterwoman?"

Marty finishes making the coffee and pours himself a cup.

"Want one?"

"Yeah, but it's got humour and I kinda like the thought of just travelling out there. You know?"

Cameron eyes the coffee and shakes his head. "Nah, I'll get myself a glass of milk in a bit. Your omelet is getting cold, man."

"Oh thanks!" Marty takes a bite and nods appreciatively. "Usually I just go for the nada omelette, but this is pretty good."

"I'd say," Cameron says, just a little bit proud of it. He finishes his own omelette and dumps it on a plate, deciding to hold off on cooking more until other people show up. "Best way to wake up if you ask me," he says as he opens up the fridge and gets the milk out. "Second best anyway," he quickly corrects with a smile.

Marty gives Cameron a wary look. "Hey look if you got a message from me about Ferrets? That was specifically for Angela. No one else."

Cameron coughs and is really glad he was just pouring out the milk and not actually drinking it. "That's really good to know, because I was slightly worried there." He pauses for a moment, considering Marty. "You know, I'm not sure a romantic voicemail should mention 'ferrets in heat'."

Marty sighs. "I'm going to be known as "ferret guy" from now on, aren't I?"

"Possibly," Cameron grimaces. "Do you know how many people got your voicemail?"

"Six that I know of," Marty groaned. Including you. Friday night I had Belthazor, some girl named Allie plus the new Sydney Bristow and that Nadia girl outside my door wanting to kill me."

"Ouch, looks like they at least let you live." Cameron seemed to be looking for any sort of bruising on Marty to suggest that he might have gotten his ass kicked.

Marty sipped on his coffee. "Yeah, luckily we were able to explain what happened before Belthazor turned me into a charred cinder. By the way? Do you know why your girlfriend would be telling me that I don't need to kill anybody?"

Cameron blinks. "I should hope not. What exactly did she say?"

"Something about having the pictures and that there's no reason I have to kill anyone."

"Pictures? She has been running around with that camera Parker gave her. You know what of?"

Marty shakes his head and munches on a another omelette. "I was just hoping she didn't think I was still killing people."

"I don't see why she would think that," Cameron frowns. "I can ask to make sure?"

"That'd be nice. I'm sure it's something that involves the whole phone mix up, but I thought I'd be sure and ask."

"I'll see if I can find something out," Cameron nods. "That whole phone mix up was messy. It actually ended in me giving condoms to Cally." He makes a face.

Marty cocks an eyebrow. "It wasn't for me was it? Because she called me to do something with her that involved chocolate sauce. I called her back and told her I wasn't interested but... yeah major weirdness."
