Sometime Sunday Morning, 4th floor common room.

Yuffie was bored. She had signed up for classes, decorated her room and probably pushed her roomies closer to the dark side while doing so and guessed nothing in town would be open yet. Suckage.

Well, at least she had gotten stuff from her secret sibling. While she normally wasn't a big reader, the "Zombie Survival Guide" was pretty cool. For a book. And probably required reading around here anyway.

So now she was in the 4th floor commons, sitting on the floor with her back wall and reading. The TV was turned to some loud cartoon, and she had a ball she was throwing against the wall so it bounce on the floor back to her hand.

Anyone coming though? Would probably be jumped on and talked at.

Paige was on her way down to Maia but noticed the new person as she passed, friend's are always good she figured as she walked in holding a ginger kitten.

She smiles "Now before I come closer you're not alergic are you?" she asked

Yuffie looked up, catching her ball before getting up. "Oh my gawd, she- or he- is so cute!" She all but jumped up and went to coo over the kitty. "What's it's name?"

Paige smiles and holds out the kitten (who's know purring very loudly) slightly to be petted.

"It's a he and he's called Lancelot, you know like the knight, and I'm Paige,"

Yuffie nodded, scratching behind Lancelot's ears with a big grin. "Cool!" She wasn't sure who Lancelot was, but maybe she would find out in that legend class she signed up for. It reminded her of the awesome "Knights of the Round' summons, and someday? It would totally be hers.

"I'm Yuffie, nice to meet ya, Paige. And you too, Lancelot."

"Yeah you too adn I'm pretty sure Lancelot here thinks the same, he seems to like you, wanna hold him?"

"I'm guessing you've already been warned about the weird things here right?" she looks thoughtful for a moment, "I'm kinda wishing I'd come here a bit later actually,"

Belthazor opened the door to room 412 and headed out to the common area, in search of caffeine. He hadn't slept well the night before. "You wanna go easy with that ball?" he complained.

Yuffie quickly caught the ball and hide it behind her. "Um... sorry?" She put on a face of innocence, batting her eyelashes.

"Thanks," Bel said. "You one of the new kids, I take it?"

"Yuffie Kisagari, At your service." Yuffie bowed a bit from her seated postion. "And yep, I'm new"

"Belthazor," Bel said, putting some money in the soda machine and getting a bottle of Mountain Dew. "Whereabouts you from?" he asked idly.

Allie was awake early and decided to wander down to the common room to see if anyone was around.

"Hi," she smiled at yet another person she didn't recognize.

Yuffie waved at the other new person. "Yo." She grined. "I'm Yuffie, if I haven't met you before. Though I'm been meeting, like, a billion people, I might have forgotten." She frowned, then brightened. "If so, then hi again."

"I'm Allie. And I'm pretty sure we haven't met. I'm not new to the school, but I am new to dorm life. How are you liking the school so far?"

"Yeah, I'm new to the school. Didn't think I was *that* obvious. But it seems cool" She waved the book in her hand. "At least I'm prepared."

Allie chuckled. "Where'd you get that? And I wonder if there is one for gremlins or any of the other weird things that go on here."

Bel saw Allie enter the room. "Hey," he said in greeting.

Allie recognized the boy from outside Marty's room the other night.

"Hi not-Marty," she greeted him.

He grinned. "Belthazor," he said, watching her for a reaction.

After a rough night filled with strange dreams, Isabel wandered sleepily down the hall towards the sound of voices in the common room.

She stopped in the doorway and blinked with bleary eyes at the people gathered there.

Bel nodded in greeting to Isabel. "You look exhausted," he observed. "Too early to be studying so hard."

Yuffie waved. "Izzy, right? I think I met you at that meet and greet thing. You stopped me from attacking the dragon."

Isabel tried to open her eyes fully. "That's right, I'm sorry, I don't remember your name."

Broots stumbled out of his room, almost half awake, and made his way to the common room. Food good.
