[First Floor Lobby, Monday Evening]
Not having had any classes today, Archie has spent most of it . . . well, in his room as usual. He does, however, have the Tick's Advanced Criminal Justice course first thing in the morning, and he's determined to do better than he did last term.
So he's sitting in the lobby going over his notes from last term, a large carafe of coffee and a plate of*fingerwiggle* buttery crumpets muffins on hand. He'd be willing to share with anyone who happens to wander by, of course.

This attempt was destined to fail, of course, but trying counts for something. And then he saw a friendly face. "Hello, Archie! How are you this evening?"

"I'm glad to see that you signed up this semester! You started last semester off really well, so I know that you have Justicey Goodness in your brain! I can't wait to give you a CAT Scan of Education and see what it looks like!"

He smiled up at the Tick. "Your class challenged me in ways I suppose I never expected, and I enjoyed it very much. I'm glad you were willing to have me back."

Tick took a bite of his muffin. "Ooh, tasty."

"You know what you should do, Archie? If you want to meet your fellow students, you have to throw yourself into the fray! Go ahead and enter the StuCo race!"

"I suppose I should start working on some of those posters people are putting up everywhere."

When she reached the lobby she saw
Jaye's boyfriendArchie talking to a tall man dressed all in blue with a small purple dragon on his shoulder. She stopped in shock. "Lockheed! You're Lockheed!"no subject

"Hey, Archie. Hey, Bridge (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/375436.html?thread=15967884#t15967884)." She turned to Lockheed's perch. She looked him up and down. "You're Professor Tick, right?"

"I'm Molly Hayes. I'm a mutant and I'm from L.A., not some other planet or the future or anything. This guy named Jake told me that you are some sort of superhero, which I am willing to believe without proof since you are hanging out with Lockheed, but I've never heard of you before so I don't think you're from my world so I need to know all about your powers and where you're from and what kind of villains you fight. How did you get your name? Do you have a secret identity? Will you tell me what it is? Have you fought any bad guys here in Fandom or are you just here to teach?" Molly tore off a piece of muffin and looked expectantly at The Tick for answers. She was bouncing a little again.

"Happy?" he asked, smiling.

nighnear invulnerable. I tend to get tired after I use my powers. Does that happen to you? Are you a mutant? Or were you bitten by a radioactive tick? Is that how you chose your name?"Possessions are hard, you can't kill the body, but you still have to figure out how to beat them. A duck army sounds cool. I wish I could have been here to see you thwart them. That would have been neat."
She smiled at him. "Yes, I am."
no subject
"I managed to knock the fiend out after a good fight. Lockheed took care of the ducks." Lockheed looked very proud about this.
"I'm glad you're happy, Molly!"

When The Tick mentioned Lockheed's part in the battle, she turned to him. "Go, Lockheed! A whole duck army by yourself? That's awesome!" She smiled at him and then turned back to The Tick.
"So, Mr. Professor The Tick, what class do you teach? Are you teaching students how to be superheros? Do they get to make costumes? I made a costume once, but my friends didn't. They kinda made fun of me, but then, I was eleven at the time and it was a pretty bad costume." She waited patiently for his answers.
no subject
"Egads, you're just full of questions!" Tick said happily. "I teach Advanced Criminal Justice. It's not exactly about superheroes, but it does examine the Backbone of Superheroism, of course! No costumes are made, unfortunately. But you made a costume? I bet it was keen!"
no subject
"Hi!" he says, waving cheerfully at everyone.
