Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

Sam stood in front of the counter. On the stove were three tea kettles, heating nicely. On the counter were several bowls, with colored powder in them. When the kettles whistled, she measured the water, poured it into the bowls, stirred them until the powder dissolved, then carefully carried the bowls to the fridge. Two of the bowls were full of blue liquid.

Anyone who knew or cared about this sort of thing might notice that the bowls were full of raw Jell-o in every flavor except red. Not that she was bitter about the cafeteria's lack of blue Jell-o or anything.

Peter walked into the common room, really beginning to worry about the fact that he hadn't started working on his StuCo campaign yet. He'd have to get a handle on that and... hey. Jello. Aw. Raw Jello. Oh well.

"Hi. Sam, right?" Peter asked.

"Hi, Peter," Sam said, as she closed the refrigerator door with her foot. "How're your first two days going?"

"Could be worse. Had one class yesterday, none today," Peter said. "Not too bad, really."

"What's with all the Jello?"

"New guy!" Cally, having entered the common room, runs over and gives Peter a big hug. "Oh, erm, hi. Sorry if I, like, invaded your personal space there."

Out of nowhere, Peter was being hugged by a cute girl. This school could be awfully surprising. "Um. Hi. No, I just wasn't expecting a running hug as a greeting. Hi, I'm Peter. Lollipop?" Peter asked, offering her one.

Anders had missed seeing Cally run over and give Peter a hug or he might've raised an eyebrow. As it was, he just waved with the hand that wasn't holding five trays of cupcakes. "Hey, new dude! Cupcake?"

"Trade you?" Peter asked, holding up a lollipop. "Hi, I'm Peter."

Parker came in, carrying more posters, and waved to Sam as she started using the stickiest of sticky tape to put them up: first Marty's, then Izzy's, then hers.

"Oh *HELL* no!" Marty shouted and immediately started tearing down the posters with his name on them.

Damn sticky tape.

"You aren't running?" Isabel asked.

Parker started slapping at his fingers. "You had a chance to back out, you didn't take it, cut it out! I worked hard on this!" She pouted. "Besides, I used the industrial stuff. Ha!"

Isabel followed, carrying more posters, and the bag of lollipops.

Callisto started hanging up her own posters (http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/2852/batshit27zp.jpg). "Y'know, why is it that these keep disappearing from this floor?"

Angela watches the posters go up and blinks. "You've been busy."

Marty walks into the common room and sees something Sam cooking.

This cannot be good.

"Hey Sam. Hey guy I don't know."

"Hey there. I'm Peter," he waved.

"Hey, Marty. Jell-o in another couple of hours. Every flavor but red."

Angela holds up one of Min's paws and waves to Marty with it.

Once she's sure the stairs are safe, Angela cautiously heads down to the common room carrying Min.

She figures the cat deserves to see the world outside 304 once in a while.

"CALLISTO LOVES ANGEL?!" Marty shouted. "Oooooh. No good can come of this.

Anders wanders in after a quick cupcake run down to Jeff, the God of Biscuits, with several trays of cupcakes in hand. "Hey, I brought --" He breaks off and looks at the counter.

"Jell-O? Is this a Jell-O holiday now?"

"Cupcakes!" Cally bounds over and grabs one, and takes a big bite. "You know, I think I finally figured something out about you."

"Ooh, cupcakes!" Logan said, wandering in from Angel's room. He picked out one with chocolate sprinkles.

Bridge bounces into the Common Room and waves to everyone.

"Hi guys!"
