2nd floor common room, evening

Cameron's in the common room. It might appear as if he's just watching the Cartoon Network while in fact he's making notes. Apparently thanks to professor Tick, cartoons are now great study material for Criminal Justice classes. There's a bunch of homemade chocolate cakes on the table, but he doesn't seem to be touching them.

Pip laughs. "I'd be insulted, but I came to terms with it a long time ago." He thinks. "Okay, how about this. "Vote for Pip and Pippi. It's easier that way. And they'll keep an eye out for your interests?"

"Brilliant!" she hops in her chair.

"So now that's settled, how was the rest of your day and what adventures do you have planned?"

"Well," Pip says. "I had a couple of classes, including my music class. I play guitar, in case you didn't know. As for adventures, I've come to the conclusion that I've been here almost a week and I haven't caused any mischief, mayham, or naughtiness since I got here. And for me, that is a shameful record. So I'm trying to think of something I could. Preferably something that I could get thrown in detention for."

Pippi considers this, she would like Pip's company in detention.

"I don't suggest the Locker. Not that it won't get you detention, but in my experience it really wasn't worth it, not that it wasn't fun while it lasted. It just didn't last."

Pip nods. "I was going to drop water balloons on people, but Cameron and John already hosed people down with their squirt guns." He takes a long drag on his cigarette and stubs it out in an ash tray. "Hmm... what else is both not allowed and would be a lot of fun to do..."

"It's not really my cup of tea..." mused Pippi, "But I've noticed that most boys are overly fond of getting into fights."

Pip frowned. "Nah. One thing my grandfather always taught me was to never fight for the sake of fighting. Or to fight for no good reason. And while he and I disagree about what constitutes a good reason to fight, we do agree that fighting for no good reason is pointless. Hmm... I need a good practical joke. That's what I need."

Anybody who spent any amount of time with Pippi would be well acquainted with the general aura of impishness about her. The shear magnitude of this aura gradually over the course of a moment becomes palpable.

"Ya know..." she said, "I remember... Oh no. No no. That's a bit much."

Pip's grin is enormous. "Oh, no no no no. You can't leave me hanging now. Not after an introduction like that. C'mon, spill it."

Pippi is still grinning, but you can tell she's just a tinge sorry she said anything. "It's just that I wouldn't be able to help ya, because I'm not sure I want to incur a second detention before I've even tried the first. And this might get you rovered and I don't know what happens to a person who get's rovered. And wouldn't that be a fine how'd ya do? Getting my running mate rovered before we even got a chance to make posters!"

There was a pause.

"... Okay, here's what I was thinking." she said leaning in.

"Didn't Principal Smith say he just got a new desk?" she asked quietly.

"Yes, he did," Pip whisperes back quietly. "And don't worry about the Rover. I think it'd be kind of interesting."

Inwardly, Pippi rolled her eyes. Boys. Well, she guessed she'd find out what happened to one who was rovered vicariously through her namesake.

"Wouldn't it be a shame if something strange were to happen? Like, a golfcart getting dismantled and reassembled on the desk while the video feed was out?"

Pip smirks. "Yes, yes it would be. And the scary thing is that I actually know how to do that to a golf cart." He scratches his chin. "I do think I know what I can do. The tough part would be taking out the video feed."

"Or at least a distraction."

Pip smirks. "I have just the thing for a distraction."

Pippi raises her eyebrows, "Oh? Are ya gonna tell me, or am I going to be surprised?"

Pip grins enigmatically as he lights a cigarette. "You'll see." He blows smoke up into the air. "You'll see."

Pippi leans back.

"I do like surprises."
