Rooms 239/240: Moving Day [After Classes]

Even though Marty was given an invitation to move into Room 239/240 by Jack on Sunday, it wasn't until today that Marty finally found the time to pack up his belongings and start the migration to his new digs down the hall.

Sure... Some people would say he was crazy to give up a single but Marty couldn't resist the opportunity to figure out what those Colorado Refugees were trying to hide from the rest of the school.

Marty picked up his first box and looked over to Camilla.

"C'mon girl. Let's go meet our new roomies."

So together Marty and his pet chicken started the migration down the hallway.

When Aeryn finally wanders into her room...

She takes a step back, checks to see that it's the right room, then says, "Um. I know I don't spend a lot of time here, but something's different."

From the corner of the room, Aeryn would hear some clucking noises from Camilla where she sits on Aeryn's bed happily knitting a scarf.

Aeryn stares at the chicken, because she may be relatively new here, but she knows that's not right. "Um," she says again.

Camilla continues to knit as Marty stumbles in behind Aeryn with a ton of boxes. "Hey Roomie."

Aeryn thinks she really has been spending too much time in 238. "Did I know about this?" she asks curiously. "And why is there a knitting... Why?"

"Well Camilla was given to me by the Chef last term and she's a knitter. Do you need anything knitted? As for why she's on your bed? Jack O'Neill."

"That... doesn't surprise me. Could... she be on his bed?"

Marty motions Aeryn to be quiet. "She already got thrown off Janet's. I don't think you want to anger her."

Keeping her voice low, she says, "I was attacked and then stalked by ducks for a week. I don't need any more poultry in my life right now. I'll make an exception, but that's my bed."

Camilla seeing how the new girl in the room appears to be upset approaches Aeryn and offers her a newly knitted scarf.

"There you go," Marty says. "Camilla? Will you be nice to Aeryn and not sit on her bed? She seems to have been having problems with ducks lately. It's not about you."

"Squawk!"

"I think we're okay..."

A chicken just knitted her a scarf. This planet just keeps getting weirder. "Thank you," she says to Camilla, and then says it to Marty.

Yes, she talked to the chicken first.

Janet waved at Aeryn, still clutching the coffee Liz had given her. "Hi. Welcome back. Want to help Liz and I kill Jack?"

Aeryn shakes her head, still looking over at her bed. "I really don't care who lives here, but we may have issues with the chicken."

"I'm just ready to kill Jack for the lack of warning," said Janet. "Who said anything about objecting to Marty?"
