Rooms 239/240: Moving Day [After Classes]

Even though Marty was given an invitation to move into Room 239/240 by Jack on Sunday, it wasn't until today that Marty finally found the time to pack up his belongings and start the migration to his new digs down the hall.

Sure... Some people would say he was crazy to give up a single but Marty couldn't resist the opportunity to figure out what those Colorado Refugees were trying to hide from the rest of the school.

Marty picked up his first box and looked over to Camilla.

"C'mon girl. Let's go meet our new roomies."

So together Marty and his pet chicken started the migration down the hallway.

"And I think you're a delusional little freak," said Janet, sticking her tongue out at him.

"Good point," said Janet. "So, 6969 then?" She snickered at the look on Jack's face. "Like he didn't know what you were doing? Come on, Jack, you did know that he knew, right?"

"The last?" She knew damn well Daniel hadn't made it to any of the parties. "We haven't had a support group meeting in ages have we?" asked Janet. "We need to have one of those soon."

Ooh, then fun! I have plans tomorrow afternoon, but will be up very late Saturday night.

"You may think that but that doesn't mean it's true," Jack replied sticking his tongue out at her in return.

"...Maybe. Maybe not. You don't know me! And, I would like to add that you are still a mighty powerful little freak."

"It's been... I think the last one was before homecoming." Wow. "We really need to have another one soon. Which actually brings about the question of attendance, seeing as how we have people who can be here and aren't in the room and people who can't and are."

It's a good thing your late Saturday night is my Semi-early Saturday night then.

"Of course it's true," said Janet. She wondered if she had a stash of tongue depressors anywhere.

"Right, then. I know you entirely too well. Doesn't make anything I've said any less true."

"It had to be after Homecoming," said Janet. "You had a schoolwide party after Homecoming, and right before was Sam coming back from her vacation, and then that thing with Hathor that bitch." She frowned. "But it's still been months. You're the one who invited Marty in. He can just spend the night at Angela's, and it's not like Aeryn doesn't spend 90% of her time in 238 anyway. Or we could just have it at Daniel's."

And yes, it so is. And I hate LJ for eating my comment.

"Wow. It has been a while. We could have it at Danny's but then we might have to deal with his bitching about messing up his place. Again."

"We cleaned up after Thanksgiving," said Janet. "But I don't mind doing it here."
