4th floor Common Room, Saturday night

Xander? Might possibly have been dealing with a Twinkie hangover. He was sprawled on a couch watching an evening repeat of Smile Time, occasionally singing along with the music -- Self esteem is for everybody, self esteem is for everyone...You can dream and be anybody but self esteem is how you get it done.... -- and looking like a guy suffering from a serious sugar-dump.

Looks can be deceiving, of course. The astute observer might note a pair of marshmallow blasters and several bags of ammo sitting innocently on the nearest table.

Rory, up on the fourth floor for no reason at all, wandered in.

"Ooh, marshmallows," she said happily. "Finally, someone who watches TV like I do."

Bridge has no reason to be up on the fourth floor. But, really, since when does he need a reason to be anywhere? He bounces into the Common Room.

"Xander, Xander, Xander!" he says, waving cheerfully.

On her floor for once, Jaye has to stop when she hears the music. "Oh my god, the song's stuck in my head already."

Callisto, upon on the forth floor for no particular reason, walked into the common room. "Oooh, puppets!"

"Hi, Mrs. Kennedy!" Rory said cheerfully.

"With ammo?" Xander asked, grabbing one and, without loading it into a gun, throwing it at Ratio Hornblower when the math-puppet showed his honk-nosed face onscreen.

Jaye glares. And looks for somthing to throw at Rory. Because Rory has a strange habit of turning Jaye into an elementary school student.

"So I see Bridge is still in the middle of that crushing depression," Xander responded, tossing a marshmallow at him.

Xander does not in any way nod towards the open bag of marshmallows...

"Well, yeah. Usually it's a waste, though," Rory said, flopping onto a couch. "Though I find it's much better just to make snarky comments and supply dialogue. No need to get the lovely sugary happiness all dirty."

Bridge catches the marshmallow and does the only sensible thing he can think of with it- eats it.

"Oh, yes," he deadpans. "I've been writing angst-ridden poetry in my room all day."

Jaye totally grabs a marshmallow and throws it at Rory.

Xander pointed to the big purple one. "That one's evil. He promotes Math."

"Math can be useful," Callisto said, completely ignoring the fact she hadn't taken a single high school math class. Ever.

Xander considered this, rolling a marshmallow between his fingers. "There's a certain amount of pointiness to that. But sometimes--"

He launched it at the screen, hitting Ratio dead on the nose, and suppying his own "HONK" when it landed.

"--there's nothing like gratuitous food-related violence."

"I hope somebody removed all the sharp objects from your immediate vicinity..."

Alanna wandered up stairs, a couple books with her. Faithful was apparently taking a nap on her shoulder.

"So can hemorrhoid cream, but I don't wanna hear a big purple puppet singing about it," Xander answered.

He was a little surprised to find it occupied.

Rory made a sad face. "Mrs. Tyler-Kennedy?"

"True enough," Callisto agreed. "Must be evil, then. Maybe we should preform an exorcism."

"Aloha," Rory said from where she was flopped on the couch. She felt like being creative.

Callisto was just glad Rory had a new victim. Now if she could just get Crichton to focus on Jaye as well...
