2nd floor common room, morning/brunch time

Cameron returns from a run into town with a couple of bags. He's got muffins from Jeff the God of Biscuits, the NPC bakery, and ingredients for his omelettes and the pancakes Marty is going to make. Hopefully either Marty or Rory show up soon because Cam's really not too good at making coffee. With the invitation folder helmet on, he is however capable of making a damn wicked omelette.

((Yes, this is adressed to the 2nd floor but anyone who wanders by will get breakfast. So feel free to drop in.))

"It does explain a lot," Cameron grinned at Pippi. "Is that how you pronounce it? I keep forgetting."

She grinned back. "Either that's how you pronounce it or the Dairy farmer was making fun of the Swedes just off the boat... In which case you should definitely pronounce it as well because misery loves company."

"I'll take your word for it," Cameron chuckled. "How did you like the dance?"

"I liked it very much!" she said emphaticly while scratching her neck. "Though, we sometimes got strange looks from some of the band... I really liked the music, though I don't think the dances we knew actually fit in with it. But we had a lot of fun. How about you?"

"Yeah, punk isn't something very traditional for a dance." He agreed. "I had fun. Got to talk to some friends and danced with my girlfriend."

"Don't you do that everyday?"

Cameron grinned. "Yep. Which means that life here ain't that bad."

Pippi grinned back, Cam was certainly in a better mood today then he was when she first met him.

"I think that's the first time anybody has said that out loud," she replyed laughing.

"Really?" Cameron shrugged. "This place is weird and there's some really bad if not just plain weird stuff around, but in the end I still like it."

"Well, I am new... So conversations for the most part have been, 'Hi welcome to Fandom...' and then the lists of warnings start... I think things are starting to settle down now though."

"I can imagine, when I got here we didn't know really what was coming. I came in a bit later than the others so I got a gremlin warning but for the most part I had to figure the rest out for myself. You'll get used to it. Heck, you got in detention so I'm thinking you might be already."

Pippi laughs and scratches her neck. "Well... It just isn't a good week until some adult is mad at me for something."

Cameron laughed as he served up her omelette. "Is that your subtle way of saying that you're thinking of paying a weekly visit to detention?"

"More like it's a subtle way of saying I'm planning on being more careful about getting caught red handed!" Pippi accepts the omelet gratefully. "Thank you this smells lovely. Where'd you learn to make such a great omelet?"

"Sounds like a good idea," Cameron says. "My dad taught me. Between him and my sister teaching me how to do chocolate desserts, I know just enough to get through the day."

"I'm sure you'll make a wonderful wife someday." She says grinning and takes a bite. "Mmmmm Mmmm!"

"Hey!" Cameron mock glares at her. "Last time I feed you breakfast."

"Aww darn." she said with mock disappointment, "That only leaves me with those lovely chocolate treats you mentioned."
