2nd floor common room, morning/brunch time

Cameron returns from a run into town with a couple of bags. He's got muffins from Jeff the God of Biscuits, the NPC bakery, and ingredients for his omelettes and the pancakes Marty is going to make. Hopefully either Marty or Rory show up soon because Cam's really not too good at making coffee. With the invitation folder helmet on, he is however capable of making a damn wicked omelette.

((Yes, this is adressed to the 2nd floor but anyone who wanders by will get breakfast. So feel free to drop in.))

Pippi scratched a welt on her neck. "You are very lucky. I should probably be more like you... Except hanging out with my friends seems to have lead to me getting detention."

She smiled.

"I'll get the hang of this whole, 'not getting into trouble', thing someday I'm sure. Where are ya from?"

Elizabeth laughed. "I'm sure after a few detentions, you'll master it," she said. "I'm from... well, from Colorado at the latest."

"Coolooraadoo." Said Pippi, "I don't think I've ever been there. What's it like?"

"Mountainous," Elizabeth replied. "I haven't spent all that much time there, I admit. There's lots of mountains there though."

"Ohhh, mountainous. Is the Skiing good?"

"Actually, there's some world famous skiing up there... Vail and Aspen are both in Colorado. I don't ski myself," Elizabeth replied.

"You don't really have a choice in Vimmerby. It's skiing or snow shoes. Though I started using the snow shoes more often because the shop keepers would get mad at me bringing my skis in their stores. They're kinda awkward indoors."

Elizabeth grinned. "Yeah, I can imagine. I've skiied a couple of times, but then I wrecked my knee in a running accident, and it wasn't recommended."

"Oh that's too bad." she took a bite of her omelet de Cam. "Welp, there's always sledding."

"Yeah, that's always fun," Elizabeth nodded. "But there's not been a great deal amount of snow here this winter. Which is good and bad."

Pippi nods. "Is there usually snow? I thought it was just an American thing that there wasn't."

"Well, it depends on the location, and I'm not exactly sure how much Virginia gets, but I think it's around twenty inches a year. Which I'm sure is nothing compared to what you get in Sweden, but it's a fair amount here," Elizabeth explains.

Pippi nods. "That'll be nice. To have snow without needing to put up a tube for air."

Elizabeth blinked. "Yeah, I bet."

Antartica had been bad enough, in a top of the line research facility.
