2nd floor common room, morning/brunch time

Cameron returns from a run into town with a couple of bags. He's got muffins from Jeff the God of Biscuits, the NPC bakery, and ingredients for his omelettes and the pancakes Marty is going to make. Hopefully either Marty or Rory show up soon because Cam's really not too good at making coffee. With the invitation folder helmet on, he is however capable of making a damn wicked omelette.

((Yes, this is adressed to the 2nd floor but anyone who wanders by will get breakfast. So feel free to drop in.))

Pip almost chokes on his muffin. "Oh, really? I've met Chiana. Nice girl. Gray skin is interesting." He manages to swallow his muffin down. "I was unaware you swung that way. It is swung, right? Not swang? I always get past tense stuff confused."

Maia looks amused as he chokes she watches him closly for a few minutes and then smiles. "I do actually. I haven't met the right boy to swing me the other way so to speak." Maia tilted her head her eyes dancing slightly "So what did you and my black eyed beauty do?" Maia couldn't keep the laughter from her voice.

Pip frowns. "So... you're saying that you... could swing both ways if you found the right boy?" he asks, trying to work his way through the English language. Bloody English language and it's bloody vaugeness.

While Pip is used to an open sexual environment, he also has a very strong survival instinct, and it's instructing him to be vague. "Well, I danced with her at the dance. Later we... hung out in her room."

Maia managed to keep a straight face through this, she knew Chiana and knew that Chiana rarely just hung out in rooms. "Its ok you know" Maia said swinging her leg, "If you guys did something, we're not exclusive to one another." Maia said stretching again. "We're there for each other when we need 'things' and other then after that we're friends." Maia smiled hoping he understood that there was not a standing arrangement between herself and Chiana. She cared very much for Chiana, she had felt herself falling for her before Christmas but had reminded herself they were just friends and it needed to stay that way. "So to answer your question, yes."

"Oh. In that case, yes. We did something. Or, if I was to be really blunt about it, we did indeed have sex. And she was quite good, so it speaks for your tastes." He tapped the table. The lack of nicotene was getting to him. "Well, in case you were curious, I only swing the one way. Towards girls." A thought strikes him. "If you're from the 1940s, did you have trouble with that? I know that there were a lot of social stigmas against that. Walter still has trouble admitting to being gay in public, I think."

Maia laughed a little at his question "Well actually I was only eight years old in the 1940s, they took me and brought me back and I was still just eight years old so, well I didn't really swing either way back then I guess." Maia smiled and looked thoughtful nobody had ever asked her that question before. "And yeah she is." Maia blushed furiously now reminding herself as a little pange of jealousy hit out of nowhere that she and Chiana were friends. Hell she had kissed Tonks. "I think boys who swing towards girls are great." She said grinning "Makes it easier for me when I want you to swing towards me-" Maia froze at her comment, she wanted to die right there and sink through the floor. "I-wha- well what I mean is-" Maia just closed her eyes and wished the world away.

"Ahhh, that would make sense. Main thing I wanted out of girls when I was eight was to pull their hair. A bit ironic, no?" he asks, fingering his braid.
He grins. "And you swing towards me and I swing towards you and I spin you inside and outside and we do other moves which escape me at the moment. It's all part of the dance, right?. Which we are still on for, yes?"

Maia was relieved he didn't, she wasn't really sure what she was afraid he would do, laugh at her possibly, but she was grateful he didn't. "Yes we are. Seven tonight on the roof right?"
