The stairs, from the fifth floor down, Monday after classes

In a brilliant cascade of colors and bounciness, several hundred rubber balls of varying sizes, from the small superbouncy balls to the large playground balls bounds cheerfully down the stairs in a omg dangerous beautiful display of . . . ballsiness ballness.

Anyone who should happen to be on the stairs was about to get a bit of a surprise if they haven't been warned by omg!traitors!

[ball attack! join the craziness! Craziness over with! Come join the ball-infused cleanupness! no, wait....]

Old Man hears the ruckus and comes out of 506 to see what it's all about. He looks at Nadia, Molly, and Shep trying to work out what exactly what's going on here...

He's a very stoic horse most of the time, But gives of an air of being genuinely puzzled.

In the process of going for the girls, Shep doesn't see the door open and the nerf baseball in his hand hits the horse. He starts to apologize and then realizes that he'd be talking to a horse.

Old Man does not seem to have enjoyed being bapped in the head with a nurf bat. That was unnecessary, he is not some Globe of Conflictart Shaman or Shadow Priest!

Calmly the horse turned around and started walking back down the hall to its room... As it got to a pile of boxes containing superballs, it let out a tremendous back kick that sent the box, and its cargo, flying at Shep.

Shep hunches down and lets the sea of superballs roll over him and down the stairs. Whoever's below him is in for a hell of a shock.

Lana wakes up from a nap in the fourth floor common room as she hears all the yelling. She stretches and heads for the stairwell to see what's going on and is hit by a sea of superballs, knocking her onto the floor. "What the hell?" she yelps.

Shep, monkey still in his pocket turned and smiled. "Hi Lana. Fancy meeting you here."

"Shep?" Lana shook her head, tried to get up and fall again as she slipped on the superballs. "What the hell is going on here?"

"Ball Blitz. Pip warned me about it at the dance. But we're talking about going out for hot chocolate now." He takes a marshmellow off the banister and tosses it to Lana. "Interested?"

She flinches but catches the marshmallow just before it hits her in the face. "I'm always up for hot chocolate," she replies with a smile. "Though I'm not sure I *can* get up."
