"Much better now that I have a cupcake and am done with classes. Plus, the army of Camillas seems to be avoiding my end of the dorms, thank god."

"What club are you doing? I signed up for the newspaper and Deep Thoughts."

"The army of whats?" Bridge blinks. Really, sometimes the poor boy is woefully uninformed. "And I'm doing Fight Club. Well, I'm in Investigator's Club too, but I'm running the Fight Club."

"The muppet chickens. I call them Camilla's 'cause of Marty's. Haven't seen as many today, maybe they all moved out overnight."

"And fight club? What is that, whaling on each other? I hate fights."

"Ooooh." Bridge says. "And it's not about beating up on people at all. It's... well, a lot of it is about working effectively as a team. And keeping up our skills."

This interests Angela. "Like martial arts? Do you know Tai Kwon Do or something?"

"Or something. I've had training in Shotokan karate and Sirian traditional fighting styles." Bridge says, bouncing.

"That's so cool. I mean, I don't like fights, but martial arts are just fun to watch, y'know? How long have you studied those?"

"About six years now. Well, the Shotokan, anyway. I didn't start learning non-Earth-based fighting styles till I joined the Academy."
