"Got it. We're so gonna play Pyramid, too. Gonna kick your little contract-signing butt." Cally sticks out her tongue a little and smiles. "You'll see."

"Oh yeah?" Anders taps Cally on the nose, then kisses her forehead. "We'll just have to see about that."

His gaze drifts off somewhere in the distance for a second, and he frowns. "It's probably too soon to start worrying about how we're gonna get time together when I'm on the road, huh?"

Cally blinks a few times. "That's, like, how many years off?"

"At least three. So too far off to worry about just yet, huh?" Anders shrugs and kisses her on the nose. "Forget I said anything about it, 'kay?"

"Hey. You totally just commited yourself to us being together for the next three years. Not that I imagined that not being the case, but now I totally have to say something you have to forget. Which is... so, when are we getting married?" Cally grins, mischeviously.

Anders turns really bright red and just starts coughing.

Cally smiles smugly, and just waits.

"I -- you -- me -- married?"

Anders hasn't squeaked and flailed this badly since the times Cally used to climb in his lap and flirt horribly with him, before they were dating.

"Are we gonna have to have a sad and crushing break-up because of your fear of commitment?" Cally looks at Anders as seriously as she can, which is rather hard given her distinct need to laugh out loud.

Anders flails and squeaks some more, and finally manages to get a hold of himself long enough to say, "Not afraid of commitment with you. Just -- not ready to think about that yet."

He ducks his head and scuffs at the floor with his toe, reaching down to take Cally's hand and play with the ring he gave her for Christmas. "Don't joke about breaking up, 'kay?"

"Okay, okay. That totally wasn't fair of me." Cally pats Anders on the shoulder then reaches up to caress his cheek with her thumb. "Won't do it again..." she pauses for a few moments. "Unless it'd be really, really funny."

"Hey." Anders sticks his tongue out at Cally. "Makin' me choke isn't funny."

"Yeah, but makin' you squeak is." Cally sticks out her tongue as well.

Anders sighs. "You're never gonna get tired of that, are you?" He pulls Cally into his arms again and mumbles, "I might not be ready for it yet? But I can totally see you and me together like that someday."

"Good. Cause I'm the same way." Cally kisses Anders on the chin and looks up into his eyes. "But right now? Maybe I can see you and me together in a totally different way next door?"

"Totally," grins Anders, leading her off.
