Fourth Floor Common Room - Sunday Afternoon

Lilly is out for the day and Allie is caught up on all of her homework, so she decides to head down to the common room and see if anyone is around.

Han comes in with three DVDs and a couple bags of microwave popcorn. After yesterday, he fopund himself in the mood for an Arizona Smith marathon, and a rainy Sunday afternoon seemed just right for it.

But a pretty redheaded girl was already in the common room.

"Uh, hi."

"Oh, hi," Allie says, looking up from her book. "Um, I can leave if you have plans," she adds, noticing his movies & popcorn.

"I was just gonna watch some movies. You can join me or I can go pester Lana to use her DVD player if you want."

He shows her the titles:
Marauders of the Missing Artifact, Arizona Smith and the Chapel of Calamity, Arizona Smith and the Final Pilgrimage

"Just the kind of afternoon for them, you know? I got plenty of popcorn," he adds.

"Those are all good movies that I haven't seen in a while," she says with a smile.

"I'm Allie, by the way. I don't think we've ever met."

"Han Solo. I'm in 402 with Shep."

He sets the movies on the player and starts the popcorn.

"There isn't much to do on a rainy afternoon in Fandom. And after detention yesterday, I was in the mood to watch someone else do the swashbuckling, you know?"

He sets a couple bottle of Coke on the table and plugs in the first movie. The microwave pings and he tosses her the bag of popcorn before starting his own.

"So what are you taking and how have we managed to miss seeing each other for five months?"

"Detention? The second week of school?" Allie looks at him skeptically.

"I lived off campus last semester, so that's probably why we've missed each other. But this term, I'm taking Speech 401, Sociology of Sex Cultures, Chemistry and Arthurian Traditions."

Han gives her a grin. "My second detention. One more to go. Don't ask."

He nods. "I lived off campus too. In the spaceship north of the park. But, my guardian had to go off-world for a while, so here I am in the dorms."

His popcorn comes out and he has a seat on the couch and picks play movie. "I'm in Sex Cultures too. Music of the Multiverse, Poetry, Anthro and Self-Defense."

The logo fades to the opening shot.

"That's a big class, but I'll make it a point to keep an eye out for you now," she says, ignoring the detention stuff.

She grabs a handful of the popcorn Han gave her and settles back to watch the movie.
