Self-Defense - Wednesday evening, Gym
Students entering the gym in the evening are greeted with the sight of a black cat bouncing up and down on a window-sill. The gym is set up the way it always is: matts on the floor, a table with food and Alanna.
"Okay, today? We will be working on kicking. If you're being attacked, I don't recommend it unless you feel like you have enough experience to be quick about it. If you are going to kick, "kick" with your knee. If your attacker is male, aim low. If you're being kicked, try to grab and stop the foot, usually by grabbing on. If you get it right, the person should fall over, or at least loose their balance." She clapped her hands. "Pair up, practice kicking, usual rules apply. I'll be perched by the cookies and lemonade."

Re: Pair One
[[OOC: I'd say faster than the average human, as she has had quite a bit of experience fighting, but this is pre-super!Cordy.]]
Re: Pair One
However, she still can't quite seem to connect in a real way.
After recent embarrassing moments of his own, Walter might just be grinning as her irritation escalated.
Re: Pair One
The frustration mounting, Cordy found she wasn't very good at controlling her impulses any more, so quickly raised a hand to jab Walter under the jaw.
Re: Pair One
If she's been studying, she should be able to avoid having her arm twisted painfully behind her back, he assumed.
Re: Pair One
Re: Pair One
Cordy's kick hit nothing, she pulled free of a grip that suddenly disappeared.
Walter stood a meter away from her, no longer grinning. Any observers would have seen perhaps a blur of motion as he moved from one place to another.
"I apologize. Do you want to start over, or have I been unforgivably rude?"
Re: Pair One
"Not unforgiveably rude," she said, gasping for air. "I'm pretty damn impressed, to be honest. And I will never ever pick a fight with you. As for starting over, I don't think I have the energy."
Re: Pair One
Re: Pair One
"Well, thanks for the lesson. I think I needed to learn that not everyone can be hit."
