2nd floor common room, Saturday morning

After talking to Vala yesterday, Isabel had gone up to her room and settled down with a trashy romance novel. She fell asleep and slept straight the night.

She woke early Saturday morning with a craving for pancakes. There were people sleeping in the fourth floor common room, so dressed in jeans and a heavy sweater she went down the stairs to the 2nd floor common room. There might have been people sleeping but if so, they were all hidden under the mounds of blankets around the room.

Because of that she tried to be quiet as she moved around the kitchen, turning on the coffee pot and mixing up a batch of pancake mix.

Leaving Vala piled under all the spare blankets he could find, Cameron wanders into the common room looking like he's wearing five, maybe seven, layers of clothes. "I hate the North," he grumbled and shivered as he went to join Izzy. "Breakfast?"

"Breakfast!" she said quietly and then indicated the rest of the room. "I'm trying to keep it quiet, I'm not sure if there are bodies under all those blankets or not."

Marty walks over to the kitchen area and pours himself a cup of coffee. "Hey, Cam. Omelette station today?" he asks.

From underneath a pile of blankets Marty emerges, roused by the smell of coffee and pancakes. "Mmmm. Coffee. Food. Good."

Isabel turned at the sound of a voice. "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you."

Angel wandered in, still sipping his pig's blood. Sean was with him, wearing a quite fetching red sweater. "Morning."

"Morning. There's a color I don't see you wearing much," Marty says commenting on the sweater.

"Morning! Are you feeling better today?" Isabel asked. "You didn't look so great yesterday."

She caught sight of Sean, "Aw, look at the cutie! Do you want a pancake?"

"Yo," Cameron greeted and snickered at Sean. "Cute."

Aeryn shakes her head briefly at Sean's sweater because that still makes no sense to her, but glances outside. "Change in plan?" she asks.

Parker looks peeved when she comes in, but settles for, "Hey," as she grabs omelettes from Cam. Then she glares out the window.

Aeryn is a rule-abiding student and would do nothing wrong without a very good reason. Honestly. Let's just make that clear.

She also might look a little disappointed when she looks out the window.

Isabel saw Aeryn look out the window. "It's still really coming down isn't it? Do you want breakfast, Aeryn?"

"No one wants my omelettes," Cameron whines.

Logan found a crowd of people in the second floor common room. And pancakes. "Oh, pancakes!" he said.

Sean ran over to greet Guy With Stick.

Sean was wearing a fetching red sweater, and felt like showing it off.

Molly waved from where she was still huddled under her blanket.

"Logan! Hi!"

Molly was finally roused from where she'd been sleeping in one of the chairs. She'd been too tired to go back up to her room last night and had just curled up under her blanket.

"Do I smell pancakes?"

"Yes! And coffee to," Isabel said. "Come over and get some."

Lee wanders back into the common room as the irresistable smell of pancakes is hard to...well... resist.

Isabel smiles and puts a plate of pancakes in front of Lee, wondering if he has cupcakes hidden away anywhere.

Jaye, who's got on a nice big parka today, indoors or not, heads on in. "See, this floor has breakfast."

Isabel laughed, "True, but it was made by a person from the fourth floor. I would have done it upstairs but there were visible sleeping people. Down here there were only piles of blankets."

Sam was drawn into the common room by the wonderful breakfast smells. "Isabel, you're my hero."

Isabel fixed up another plate of pancakes from the magic never-ending supply and set it in front of Sam. "Not a problem. I was hungry and figured everyone else would be to. How have you been?"

Xander stirred sleepily underneath a pile of blankets that he was pretty sure weren't his, because his didn't have Hello Kitty on them. Plus his were on his bed, and he had a vague memory of his bed not feeling like the floor of the 2nd floor common room, with the side of a couch up against his back. He yawned and shoved them away, sitting up and running a hand through his Very messy hair.

And sniffed. "Pancakes?"

He stumbled instinctively towards the kitchen in a manner that might make anyone who'd been around for Zombie Weekend look at him with alarm for at least a second.

Isabel watched the Xander-zombie stumble towards her and fixed him a plate of pancakes.
