2nd floor common room, afternoon
{It's not Xander's Common Room, but why break with today's tradition?}
Xander was halfway through his second cup of coffee, and Isabel had already wandered back upstairs to the 4th floor, when the loudspeakers fizzed and sputtered, and an announcement filled the room, in an unfamiliar-to-him female voice.
He put down his coffee and chewed the last bite of pancake, before shaking his head. "Snow monsters. Great. I should've stayed a zombie."

"Okay, one? Who was that? And two? That kind of language is unnecessary. And three? Snow monsters?"

The next thing she knows, it's 4 p.m. Whoops.
She pads down to the common room to see if Rory is still around somewhere and is surprised to find quite a crowd there. "Hey. Are we snowed in or something?"

She brings her palm to her forehead. "Right. Stuff like that is, never, ever a joke here, is it? What are we doing?"

Luckily, she was all for snow monsters.
Bouncing into the common room, she eyed everyone, and settled down to wait and see what they'd do next. Of course, if everyone decided just to bake cookies instead, she'd be all for that, too.

"'scuze me," she asks. "I'm a little out of the loop. What's going on?" This is the second time in the last 48 hours she has been entirely confused about a rather serious going-on at the school. She hoped this didn't become a trend...

But the frown disappears quickly, and she grins, holding out a hand, "I'm Sharon, by the way."

She shakes Sharon's hand, smiling. "Sakura," she says. "Nice to meet you. Any clue where to get a little more info on these things?"
