Outside Room 238, After Fourth Period

Sam knocked on the door, ready to help set up for that evening. After all, they needed somewhere to store the extra party snacks, right?

She looked at her To Do list:

Weapons Drop Off/Pick Up
First Aid/Medical Area
Comms
--Laptops
--Cell Phones
--Ear Pieces

Time to get to work.

Logan was leaning on Marty until they got inside the room, at which point he made his way to the nearest wall and sunk to the ground. He pulled up his legs in front of him and rested his head on his knees. The back of his head was caked with dried blood.

Isabel grabbed a towel and approached Logan, dropping to her knees next to him. "What's hurt? Besides the obvious?"

"On me? Head," Logan said weakly. "Going to be sick again," he warned her.

Isabel grabbed a nearby trashcan and placed it next to him. "Here, and then we'll take care of your head."

Logan vomited in the trashcan. He remained bent over it for a moment until the heaving stopped, then looked up - and saw Veronica. "Uh. Hi," he said. "Little much to drink tonight?" he offered as an explanation.

Veronica found a bottle of water and a rag and handed them to him.

She looked around the room at the various people who appeared to be injured.

"Try again. You're bleeding. Angel and Callisto are both injured. Alanna and Marty don't look so hot either."

Logan sighed. "Darla," he said simply. "And friends." He took a sip from the water bottle, rinsed his mouth out and spit into the trash can, then took a long drink.

She grabbed another bottle of water, used it to wet the rag, and started wiping his face gently.

"This was already planned when we had lunch the other day, wasn't it?" she asked. Given the ready supply of medical equipment and the sheer number of people in the room, she couldn't believe it was a random attack.

Logan gave her a guilty look, then flinched slightly as the rag touched the scratches on his cheek.

She shook her head and blinked back tears as she examined the scratches.

"Hang on, I want to get something to clean those with."

She went searching and found some peroxide and cotton balls.

"This is going to hurt," she said, saturating one of the cotton balls. "But you can't risk infection."

Logan nodded. He flinched again as the peroxide sizzled in the cuts, but didn't pull away. He reached out and rested his hand on her leg. "Glad you're here," he said softly.

She leaned over and kissed his forehead.

"Do you want me to find someone that knows something about medicine to come take a look at you?"

"Yeah," Logan said. "Kinda dizzy."

"Don't move, I'll be right back."

Janet came over and knelt down on the floor by Logan. "Veronica came and got me," she said. "You're dizzy and vomiting?"

"Yeah," he said weakly.

"Did you lose consciousness at all?" she asked.

"Yeah," he said. "Vamp pushed me against the wall. Don't know how long."

Janet sighed imperceptibly. "Okay, what's your name, your room number, and what day is it?" she asked. Hopefully he wouldn't exhibit any signs of confusion. That would be bad.

"Logan, it's Friday, and I don't remember my room number, but it's the teeny one and it used to be Veronica's," Logan said. He glanced over at his girlfriend.

"He just moved after the snow monster thing last weekend," Veronica explained to Janet. "But he's right down the hall."

She reached over and took Logan's hand, squeezing it gently.

Veronica was leaving the common room (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/444144.html?thread=19693552#t19693552), when she spotted a group of people going into what appeared to be Angel & John's room.

And one of them appeared to be Logan, leaning on Marty.

She walked down the hall instead of going upstairs and gasped when she saw blood.

"Logan? What happened? Are you okay?"

"Veronica," Isabel called. "Come over here and help him while I go get some more towels to clean up his head."

Cordy spotted Veronica and smiled guiltily. Guess they were found out.

Lucky for Cordelia, Veronica was too busy to notice. And it's not like she could yell at Logan while he was injured.
