The front courtyard, outside the dorms-- Saturday afternoon
Parker's ordered things in town, and checked on everyone; now she's rewarding herself.
Sunlight.
Yeah, that's the stuff.
Checking her phone messages, she tilts her head back and smiles as she starts to return them.
"Peter? It's Parker."
[open to anyone, really]

"By the way, I wanted to apologize for that thing with the guy serenading you the other night if I was irritating you. Seems kind of silly to apologize for that now, but, hey, take the apology when you can get it." Peter smiled, although Parker obviously couldn't see that. Because, you know, phone.

Parker grinned, because Peter's voice had lightened up. "I *always* take apologies, alcohol, and chocolate. Jarod's stupid singing was an apology too, sooo... thanks."

"I'm also not really big on team stuff anyway. My jokes only get worse when I'm trying not to die and that aggravates people. Even my teammates start trying to kill me," Peter said. "But if you ever need something done quietly by somebody with sneaky-and-avoidy-type powers, let me know. I could have fun with that."

"Seriously, I'm happy to do what I can. Just don't get me killed, or you have to tell my aunt, okay?"

"I have to get going. I'll see you around."

Parker hung up, and smiled back into the sunlight again.

You're beautiful, you're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw you face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
He clasps his hands over his mouth and squeaks.

Before Parker can respond, Zero goes on. "And how'd you get in on this bout of idiocy, hmm? Because you have so much more experience with the undead than the average student at this school. Oh, wait. Not."

Parker snarled, waited, and when she didn't break into song, relaxed. "And we told people! We had people back here tracking us! They would've known what had happened! We weren't *stupid* about this!"

Parker didn't enjoy the sunlight quite so much after that.
