The front courtyard, outside the dorms-- Saturday afternoon

Parker's ordered things in town, and checked on everyone; now she's rewarding herself.

Sunlight.

Yeah, that's the stuff.

Checking her phone messages, she tilts her head back and smiles as she starts to return them.

"Peter? It's Parker."

[open to anyone, really]

"Yeah, it wasn't tough to figure out after our chat earlier this week." Peter took a breath, then said, "I'm sorry I wasn't there to help."

"I know. But still. It's part of this whole 'responsibility' thing I have going on," Peter said. "As long as you're all okay - mostly, at least."

"By the way, I wanted to apologize for that thing with the guy serenading you the other night if I was irritating you. Seems kind of silly to apologize for that now, but, hey, take the apology when you can get it." Peter smiled, although Parker obviously couldn't see that. Because, you know, phone.

"I offer no chocolate right now," Peter said. "And I have no alcohol. So the apology will have to do."

"I'm also not really big on team stuff anyway. My jokes only get worse when I'm trying not to die and that aggravates people. Even my teammates start trying to kill me," Peter said. "But if you ever need something done quietly by somebody with sneaky-and-avoidy-type powers, let me know. I could have fun with that."

"Why do I suspect I may have just made a mistake?" Peter asked himself. Due to the fact that he was speaking on a phone, though, it was easy enough for Parker to hear.

"Seriously, I'm happy to do what I can. Just don't get me killed, or you have to tell my aunt, okay?"

Peter rolled his eyes. First John, now her. He liked his first name. "You're welcome."

"I have to get going. I'll see you around."
