Gym, Early Sunday Morning
Pip had been forced to admit that he had been neglecting his exercise routine. In his defense, his arm had been in a sling for a week, but that was hardly an excuse any more.
Quick run, some push ups, some sit ups.
Now he was at the bag, smacking it around and mulling over what had happened last night.

"Hey," he said as he passed by Pip at the punching bag, trying to place this guy's name. "Pip, right?"

"I'd say that, all in all... I have a net gain of neutral from this weekend. So we'll go with 'alright'."

He squinted a little. "Unless my memory is playing silly buggers with me, you're the professional athelete here, right?"

It wasn't nearly the same as a lightsaber, but he had to get practice in somehow and the punching bag was being used.
He closed his eyes, centered himself, and began running through the Form I lightsaber warm-up regimen.
The handle was soon a blur of motion. If it weren't for a slight stiffness in the way he held his left shoulder, there'd be no indication he had been up to anything at all this weekend.

He started moving the broom handle in a routine he had been designing himself. The broom handle moved faster and more aggressively than previously. "And Friday night aggravated it a bit," he said lightly. "So stretching it out feels good."

He kept the handle whirling. "But my bar for what is considered strange just keeps getting raised around here."
He finally stopped moving the fake lightsaber. "I've been training for this kind of stuff since I was nine years old," he said with a shrug. "I'd be in a lot of trouble in the future if I couldn't hold my own against snowmonsters." He tossed the broom handle to the other hand. "And it looks much cooler with the acual weapon. This has a different balance to it. Also, it's not glowy and blue."

He let out a brief, self-conscious chuckle. "'course, if snow monsters could play Pyramid, I coulda kicked their asses on the court."

He sighs and starts in on a modified version of his leg stretches that doesn't involve any upper body strain. "Yay for tables turning," he says, a little bit dejected. "Now I'm the one who gets to take it easy and watch while you actually work out."
