2nd Floor Common Room

After a long night of restless sleep, Marty finally crawls out of his bed and into the 2nd floor common room. He grabs a soda from the vending machine and flips on the Sci Fi channe to catch some rerun of Lightning Bug.

Parker wandered in a bit later, and flopped down at the end of the couch. "Oh, cool. I love this show. Which ep is this?"

"I'm fine, now. Two nights sleep and all I've got is a couple bruises and these scrapes left. You? I never did find out if Bel caught you."

"Crap. Sorry about that." Although it would be useful to know for-- future problems. "You're still in one piece, though. And so is he, I assume?"

"Fair enough. Your job, your equipment." Parker glanced at the TV and grinned. "He is just never going to get that line right, is he? Brain activity, moron!" she yells at the screen.

Parker threw a pillow at him. "Jarod is not in that category. And shaddup. Just because you're not--" She closed her mouth with a snap.

"Nothing! None of my damn business! Same way who I yell with isn't yours."

"Do you actually want details on what I do in my suite with gentlemen of my acquaintance?"

"Yeah, well--"

Parker froze. "How do you know about Ralph?"

Parker slowly uncoiled from her side of the couch. In her eyes, a slow maniacal gleam started to burn.

"Ralph. The zombie. Part of my security system. Which--"

She took a step toward Marty, then another...

"You wouldn't know, unless you'd been in my room--"

Step...

"Which you haven't--"

She paused directly in front of him, then smiled with homicidal glee.

"--or have you? Elmer?"

LUNGE!
