It's probably an act of desperation that Cameron is sitting in the common watching the Super Bowl. It is kinda nice with the surround system, but it's still football which really doesn't compare to basketball. Still, he's got popcorn and chips and he's feeling kinda fuzzy.

Parker intercepted her look, and grinned. "Oh, come on. You haven't lived until you've seen a pop can do the macarena. Really. Or, I might be lying."

Aeryn gives up. "I'm not going to understand a single word anyone says to me today, am I?"

"Of all the bizarre cultural experiences that Earth has to offer, the most multi-layered would be the SuperBowl," Parker agreed. "Combines sport, marketing, fanaticism, entertainment, music, food, animation, gambling, statistics, and people who voluntarily paint their faces blue. Just go with it, nod, and don't ask why they're wearing headphones on the sidelines."

"Strategic calls from outside the action?" Aeryn guesses.

"Or so every guy in America hopes. 'I know what they should do! I'll call the play! I've got the phone right here!'"

Aeryn has to laugh at that. Then turns serious. "They can't actually do that, right?"

"God, I hope not." Parker's eyes widened. "Then again, given the last four months-- I should probably keep my mouth shut."

Thinking about it, she nods. "I'm sure someone here could find a way to do anything. Which is scary."
