2nd floor common room, evening

It's probably an act of desperation that Cameron is sitting in the common watching the Super Bowl. It is kinda nice with the surround system, but it's still football which really doesn't compare to basketball. Still, he's got popcorn and chips and he's feeling kinda fuzzy.

"And you didn't get run over by a bus, either," Angela points out. "So, really, a fantastic month for you all around."

"Really, I'm doing great," Peter smiled. "Oh! I also interviewed Dean Zordon for the paper yesterday. I've gotten to the article to the point where it only mostly too, so yay."

"I missed the meeting. I assume Chloe will kill me later," Angela says, a little guiltily.

"Is Zordon really a head in a tub? How does that work, anyhow?"

"He is. It's weird." Peter shrugged. "No clue how. But he's also twelve hundred years old, from another planet, and mentored superheroes, so it's probably stuff none of us would understand."

"He's a 1,200 year old alien head in a tube. Of course." She groans. "All the administrators here are insane as far as I can tell. Except the substitute principal, and I think he's just always really stoned."

"I've managed to not meet anyone but Zordon." Peter laughed a little. "I think you're right about the new principal, though. He definitely sounds a little off."

"He wrote he was the chosen one of rock on his library card application. That kind of gets him points from me." She thinks about it for a minute. "I think the only ones I've met are the first two principals and -- oh, wait. Vice Principal Pierce. He seemed surprisingly normal, so the theory's blown."

"Man, I wish I had declared myself the chosen one of rock," Peter said. "No that I know how to playany instruments. But still. Would've been cool."

"So we actually have a normal administrator? I'm kind of disappointed by this."

"I think you could be chosen by rock even without playing instruments. You could just, like, embody the spirit of the music, or something."

She nods. "And yeah. Dr. Pierce. He calls himself Hawkeye, I think? Which maybe gets him some weird points, but still, he didn't seem obviously crazy."

"Maybe I could be the chosen one of rocks and work for boulders and pebbles and stuff," Peter pondered.

"Hawkeye? I met a guy who called himself Hawkeye back home. Had a thing for bows and arrows. I'm hoping this guy isn't the same."

"Is there a stone lobby?" Angela ponders, then shakes her head. "Probably not the same Hawkeye. This is an old -- well, not that old, but you know, 35 -- doctor guy. Didn't seem all that violent."

"Probably a different guy, then," Peter said. "I bet he'd root for the Seahawks. Bird solidarity."

"Maybe. Unless he, y'know, has some sense and goes for the team that's going to win."

"Pfft. Like they'll hold this lead," Peter said indignantly.

"What's with the commercials, though? The game has been better than most of them. That's just sad."

"I liked the United one with the dragons," Angela says. "But yeah, the rest of them have been lame."

"I can't beleive they excavated the Stones for halftime."

"You saw the zombies here, right? Did they look anything like Mick and Keith?" Peter asked.

Angela considers this, but shakes her head. "The zombies were greener and not as limber. Plus, they didn't wear glitter."

"But I still wouldn;t want to meet Mick or Keith in a dark alley."

"Who would?" Peter asked. "I wouldn't want to meet either one in a bright alley."

"Damn Steelers. Stupid touchdown." Peter was smiling as he said that since he really didn't care much about the game.

"Yah, it sucks that you arbitrarily picked the wrong team," Angela grins.

"Hey, my arbitrarily picked team could still pull it off!" Peter protested. "They lead the league in red zone defense! That's important!"

Angela looked at Peter as though he had three heads. "I have no idea what you just said, but okay," she responded.

Then her attention turned to the TV. "Awww. How cute is that baby clydesdale?"

"I have a vague idea what I said, but I'm not sure it's even true." Peter shrugged. "But the important thing is that, yes, the little clydesdale is adorable."

"It almost makes up for the lameness of the other commercials," Angela says, then winces as Seattle gets a touchdown. "Ah, crap."

"Touchdown, monkeys, and donkeys," Peter gleed. "Best three minutes of television ever!"
