One advantage of not having any classes until Tactics of War on Mondays was that Callisto had most of the day free, conversely, even with sleeping in late and snuggling with the boyfriend, if you had nothing to do it got boring real quick.

Good thing the Strifenova Celestial first season dvds she'd ordered had just arrived. Callisto considered going to the third floor common room, but let's face it, the bigger television in the second floor common room was just too tempting.

She slid the first disc into the player then settled down to watch Commander Ahab try to keep the fleet safe from the Toaston forces.

"What are we watching?" Rory asked cheerfully, coming in to flop on a couch.

"Strifenova Celestial, the new one," Callisto waved. "Hey Rory."

"Hi Cal. How're you feeling?" Rory asked.

"Better," Callisto replied. "Not quite up to another study session yet, but getting there."

"Let's hope we don't have another study session for awhile," Rory said with a wince. "My nerves can't take it. Though, you were one of the good ones who didn't give me a heart attack by making your dot go out."

"People's dots went out? Whose?"

"Anakin and Aeryn broke their phones," Rory said too-casually. "Their dots went out."

"Anakin's light went out?" Callisto nodded. "I can see how that'd worry you."

"Aeryn's did too. I would be very worried if anyone on our team blinked out," Rory said defensively.

"I didn't mean to suggest otherwise," Callisto responded. "But you and Anakin are very close friends, so naturally you'd be worried about him."

"Aeryn's a good friend too. I was worried. The end."

"Hey, Rory," Angel said. He held out the box from J,GOB. "Want a donut?"

"Have I ever turned down sugar?" Rory asked with a smile, taking a donut. "Thanks. What's new and fun with you?"

"I only have two classes on Mondays," Angel said. "That's a good thing. You?"

"I only have two classes, too. And one of them has Dr. Smart Doctor Glasses," Rory said happily. "My day is good."

"Tomorrow's gonna suck," Angel said. He put his feet up on the coffee table. "Three classes, one's first period, the other's Campaigning? What the hell was I thinking?"

"I have four classes in a row," Rory said with a sigh. "ACJ, then Advanced Journalism," she made a face, "History of Art and then Campaigning."

"Honestly? I'm thinking of skipping," Angel said. "I hate Campaigning, I'm no good at it. I could be spending that time working on art, or taking care of Callisto."

"But Professor Lyman likes you," Rory said, looking vaguely horrified. "And you are good at it."

Angel waved that off. "It's all people and, you know, getting them. I don't do that."

"Yeah, but you do it better than I do," Rory pointed out. "And you're good at getting stuff done."

"Haven't turned in homework since," Angel paused, thinking about it. "Two assignments now?"

"The homework's hard," Rory said sympathetically.

"See, this is what I'm saying," Angel slumped down on the couch. "And it's not like I'm ever going to try to get somebody elected anyway. How the hell's Campaigning going to help me fight the forces of darkness?"

"It's a tactical class. Same reason why we're required to take however many credits of math in high school. Critical thinking, et cetera."
