On the roof, between first and second period

Parker perched the laundry basket on the edge of the roof, and decided to start with the socks. She got some good elevation on them; a couple ended up in the bushes by the gym, and a few on the benches outside the cafeteria.

Marty should really appreciate the fashion show she was putting on of his clothing. People had no idea how great his undershirts were before.

Janet launched a shoe off the building and watched it fall.

"You know, this is kind of cathartic," she said. "Does he have any ties in there? We should knot them into a rope and try to get it into that tree over there."

"I have the other shoe," said Janet, holding it up. "Though a shirt might work better. You know, not all of us can be designer clotheshorses the way you are, Parker." She dropped the shoe back in the basket and started rummaging around for more ties. "Maybe Marty just has no sense of fashion and this is his way of disguising it?"

"Maybe it's the whole professional assassin thing," said Janet. "Though we should probably be more concerned about his potential breakdown." She snickered as the ties and the shirt drifted down from the roof. "I will be if I can ever corner him to ask him about it." She peered into the basket. "What do we have left? Pants mostly?"

"You don't know until you try," said Janet. She took one out of the basket and held it out to Parker.

Xander, walking outside towards the cafeteria to grab some breakfast, ducked a falling sock. And completely missed ducking its mate. Pulling it off his head, he looked up at Parker and Janet. "You know, if you guys are giving your clothes away to charity, there's a perfectly good NPC Thrift Shop in town... And if you're randomly stripping on the roof, could you hold on while I run back to the room and get my camera?"

Xander considered this. "If there's stripping involved, do I still get to stay and 'not see you' if I promise no pictures?"

"Exactly whose clothes would I be getting implicated in?" Xander called back up.

Janet shook her head. "Come up here and find out!"

Xander shook his head, looking up. "I have no desire to do anything in Marty's clothes, sorry."

"These are men's clothes, Xander," called Janet. "And Parker's right. You didn't see us!"

"Hey, like I'm suicidal enough to pass judgement on Parker's fashion sense if she's decided to take up boxer-briefs?"

Janet laughed. "And why would she do that?" She tossed a men's shirt down towards the general area that Xander was standing in. "No, no one is stripping up here." She grinned impishly and added, "Male or female. Sorry to have to disappoint your hormone-driven fantasies." Not that she really knew which way Xander leaned. But really, when they were tossing male clothing over the roof and Xander started asking if they were stripping, how could she resist making a totally unfounded comment which she knew OOC would probably get an amusing reaction?

"Trust me, I wasn't under the impression either of you two were guys," Xander answered with a slight grin.

"I was just going to bribe him with junk food," said Janet.

"I've got a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory chocolate-dipped cheesecake in my room that you're welcome to share in exchange for not tattling," Janet called down from the roof. "My roommate just brought it back to me from Colorado yesterday."

From room 238 (http://notstakedyet.livejournal.com/45154.html), Sam sticks his head out the window. "Um. Excuse me, but are those my clothes?"

Janet pulls back from the roof and winces as it jolts her ribs. She hopes Marty can't see her, but she can't seem to stop a stifled giggle from escaping.

Crap.

Janet grabbed her backpack and ran off to Classics, hopefully not arriving too late.

Xander snickered, picked a black sock off his shoudler, and shouted up, "I saw nothing! Just a pile of flying clothes levitating off the roof!"

Janet would have to make sure she had that cheesecake out in her room tonight.

Sam just looked tired and frustrated. "Oh Boy."
