On the roof, between first and second period

Parker perched the laundry basket on the edge of the roof, and decided to start with the socks. She got some good elevation on them; a couple ended up in the bushes by the gym, and a few on the benches outside the cafeteria.

Marty should really appreciate the fashion show she was putting on of his clothing. People had no idea how great his undershirts were before.

Parker thought about that a second, then said, "Nahhh. It's just a quirk he's taken to stupid lengths. Although he was actually wearing jeans yesterday. Maybe he's having a breakdown." She grinned gleefully as she tied the last tie to the arm of one of the dress shirts. "I dub thee: Voyager! Fly, be free!" She let the shirt go, and waved to it as it took off. "Byeee."

"Maybe it's the whole professional assassin thing," said Janet. "Though we should probably be more concerned about his potential breakdown." She snickered as the ties and the shirt drifted down from the roof. "I will be if I can ever corner him to ask him about it." She peered into the basket. "What do we have left? Pants mostly?"

"Mostly, yeah. A couple suit jackets." Parker looked at them regretfully. "I almost don't want to hurt them... but I'm sure dry-cleaning will take care of the worst of it." She grinned. "Think we can get one on the flagpole from here?"

"You don't know until you try," said Janet. She took one out of the basket and held it out to Parker.

Parker could pitch for the minors, at least. The happy face boxers managed to hit the flagpole and snag on one of the accountrements very nicely. "Three points! Yes!"
