At promply 6:00, Victor can be heard running up and down the stairs yelling "FREE FOOD! 3RD FLOOR!" Any who decides to investigate will find several tables full of various foods set up in the third floor common room. A delicious combination of smells wafts from the display, and several students are standing and waiting to serve you. The entrees are:

Table 1: Sweedish Meatballs, Various Pickled Herrings, and Pancakes

Table 2: Homemade Spaghetti with Garlic Bread

Table 3: Coq au vin (Basically rooster stew cooked with red wine)

Table 4: Cock and Bull Stew (Chicken, beef cubes, tomatoes, potatoes, spices)

Table 5: Warm Apple Pie (Whipped Cream optional)

Table 6: Rice Balls and Sushi, courtesy of Sakura! Yum!

There are a couple of unfolded tables just in case someone decides to add something to the buffet. There is also a table filled with disposable plates, cups, bowls, and utensils, as well as napkins. In the corner are a variety of bottled juices and sodas in an ice chest.

And, as promised, there are Twinkies. Boxes and boxes of Twinkies.

Parker sighed. "Yeah, you're welcome. I like you. I wouldn't have liked to have to hurt you. I'm just glad Cally knows." She leaned forward and gave him a mild dope-slap to the side of his head. "She gave you a second chance. Don't mess it up." She shrugged. "Now you know one reason Thrace and I don't get along."

"Hey," Anders protested halfheartedly, "easy on the head. It just got better."

He bit his lip and nodded. "Yeah, I guess I can see that. About you two not getting along, I mean. And there is no way I'm frakking this up, ever. Not like I can keep anything secret from my girl anyway."

"Fair enough, Daisy. I know you care about her. And if you're good enough for Cally when she knows this, I'm not going to second-guess it." Parker shook her head at Anders. "Thrace is another story. This is *so* going to bite her on the ass. But that's not my problem."

"Thrace is . . . I like her," said Anders slowly. "She gets on my last damn nerve sometimes but I still think of her as a friend. But she's frakking stubborn as hell when she wants to be and it's not worth the effort it takes to try and talk her out of anything when she's not ready for it. So no, it's not your problem. Or anybody else's but hers, really. Let her deal with the consequences. I know I had to."

"Mmm. I didn't have a problem with her before New Year's. Since then, it's just been one annoying moment after another with her." Parker shrugged. "I'm trying to stay our her face. I only wish she could stay out of mine."

Anders snorted. "Yeah, that's Thrace for you. Well, if you ever need me to run interference for you or something, let me know. I think I've gotten pretty used to dealing with her, and I've got a couple tricks up my sleeve -- no, not like that."

Parker smirked. "So noted. And the offer's appreciated, Daisy. I may hold you to that, if she gets under my skin too much. Thanks."

"Any time. I figure I pretty much owe you, just for, you know." He mimed pulling a zipper across his mouth, then smirked. "Not gonna deny there's a little bit of revenge fun in it for me, too, getting under her skin."

Glancing at his C-Bucs watch, he made a face. "Frak, I gotta go, there's a -- a thing I gotta do. Catch you around, Parker? Give Esme a pat for me, 'kay?"

She grinned. "Will do. Later, Daisy."
