Room 239/240:
Sam returns from his day out on the town going to All and Sundries, Empire Records and Cafe Fina.
He then sets up the room so that that the lights are low, candles are burning and a desk has been turned into a romantic dining experience with Lobster thermador with tarragon potato purée, asparagus, and nicoise olive vinaigrette.
He turns on the stereo and puts on some Indigo Girls.
He then leaves the room and leaves a note on the desk.
Janet & Sam
Please don't be angry with me for tricking you two into being together in the same room. It's hard to see a couple go through so many problems. Please take this opportunity for the two of you to "reconnect".
Love,
Marty
[OOC: Open to the residents of 239/240... and really anyone who wants to crash after Janet and Sam show up]

She felt a little ridiculous standing in the hallway so dressed up, but Marty had done her a big favor by helping out with the equations that afternoon and she didn't want to disappoint him. Besides, it was kind of nice to be wearing something other than jeans for once. She felt almost like an adult again.

An empty room. With the lights turned down low. And unattended candles burning. She glanced at Sam, confused, then walked inside and over to the candles on the desk. "No party?" she asked. A piece of paper caught her eye. "There's a note, at least," said Janet. She picked it up and started reading. And then she started giggling.

She started giggling too. "Not that he's the first person to think that."

"Fraiser, you in there?"

"Hey, Parker," said Janet to the door, giggling again. She got up and switched on the lights, then opened the door. "Can you tell me what drugs Marty's on? Because he's really been nuts this week."

She walked back over to the table and began pouring it into three glasses.

She spooned some of the food onto a plate, then took a bite of lobster and closed her eyes in bliss. "Okay, I may marry Marty for this. I don't care what's wrong with him."

She blushed. "Er, not that dating you would be a bad thing, Janet. Just, y'know, not my thing. Currently. And I didn't mean to say that I needed a bribe to do it, because I wouldn't. Er."
Sam decided now would be a prudent time to put something in her mouth, so she ate some potatoes.
