Sam returns from his day out on the town going to All and Sundries, Empire Records and Cafe Fina.

He then sets up the room so that that the lights are low, candles are burning and a desk has been turned into a romantic dining experience with Lobster thermador with tarragon potato purée, asparagus, and nicoise olive vinaigrette.

He turns on the stereo and puts on some Indigo Girls.

He then leaves the room and leaves a note on the desk.

Janet & Sam

Please don't be angry with me for tricking you two into being together in the same room. It's hard to see a couple go through so many problems. Please take this opportunity for the two of you to "reconnect".

Parker grins, and silently toasts it as she pops another bite of lobster in her mouth.

"Hey, anything that gets us free gourmet food is good in my book," Sam said, sighing over another bite of lobster, "I'd even date you for real."

She blushed. "Er, not that dating you would be a bad thing, Janet. Just, y'know, not my thing. Currently. And I didn't mean to say that I needed a bribe to do it, because I wouldn't. Er."

Sam decided now would be a prudent time to put something in her mouth, so she ate some potatoes.

Janet started laughing. "Would you like to dig yourself in any deeper, Sam?" she asked. She hadn't been planning on saying anything about it. "I mean, obviously it would be too awkward. We're totally different heights." Then again, the urge to tease Sam was a little irresistible right about now.
