2nd floor hallway, morning

Cameron might be bored. Probably. He's put up nine rolls of papertowels at one side of the hallway and is trying to bowl them over with a basketball he got from the gym. Weeee! Strike! Except, the ball kinda bounces around and it might be possible some people will get woken up like this. Oops.

"I know it's a basketball and while it is morning, I am not grieving so I'm allowed to bounce." Maybe he does have a deathwish.

There's a long pause full of nothing but staring. "I'd say I'm never drinking again but I don't think I would understand you any better that way," she tells him.

Cameron passes her the ball. "Play with me."

Aeryn bounces the ball at the pins, watching half of them fall before the ball rolls into the wall. "Good?" she asks.

Cameron raises an eyebrow. "Well, it's kinda effective but you're supposed to like roll the ball and get them all down in one go."

"And something tells me you're not supposed to be playing in the halls, but since we're bending the rules anyway..."

"I play anytime, anywhere." He manages to not add honey to that. Which is probably a very good thing. He does bounce off to straighten the rolls and pick up the basketball.

"Yes, I know. That's why I'm awake," she reminds him.

"It's a nice day," he throws the ball back at her.

Aeryn bounces the ball at the pins again, rules be damned. This time it gets caught up on a couple of the rolls, completely squishing one. "It's too early to give the day any credit yet," she grumbles.

Cameron sighs and looks sad at his squished rolls.

"I find it goes easier when you have a positive attitude," he says and picks one roll up and tries to straighten it.

"It's me," she says, assuming that explains everything.

"I know, so I'm bouncy for you too!" Cameron gives up on the roll and tries to get it to stand up all squished.

"Oh, don't blame me for this."

Cameron frowns. "I'm not blaming you for anything," he pauses. "Except for squishing my papertowels."

"I don't control the basketball," she says, holding up her hands.

Cameron narrows his eyes and picks up the ball. "You do when you throw it."

"I like my way better," Aeryn explains.

"The papertowel squishing way? Yeah, I bet. I'm surprised I didn't realise what you were sooner," he tries not to laugh.

Oh, this should be interesting. "What am I?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

"A papertowel squisher," Cameron declares seriously. He holds out the ball for her, keeping hold of it with his two hands as he slowly, over pronounciating says, "Roll."

Aeryn takes the ball, and just to mess with him, bounces the ball.

"I am what I am," she explains innocently.

Cameron tilts his head, having to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. "Now you're just being a mean papertowel squisher."

"And how am I supposed to clean up my room with squished towels?" Cameron asks, trying to look sad.
